in general the term "apartment ban" seems to have become a pretty decent heuristic for whether a "progressive" is keeping up on housing — ontario greens have been picking it up too
yeaaah, I've grown to dislike him slightly less over the course of the campaign but I'm not really going to be enthusiastic; as long as he's willing to play hardball on electoral reform, I can bring myself to ignore the rest that won't happen anyways

the problem is that the federal government isn't in a very credible position wrt committing to this stuff long term (latest example: transit fund) — this is why I think the only real avenue for change is to play hardball with provinces to impose New Deals™, much harder to quietly derail

yeah, I consider the skyware repos basically done for all intents and purposes, & I'm probably not maintaining any of my atproto projects for the foreseeable future
