Maybe some of these teams should be fighting the billionaires about rev share instead of the players.

WNBA players are asking for a salary cap in the $9m range; league’s offering $5m. Atlanta Dream revenue was $12m in 2024.

Every team’s revenue is going up substantially with the new tv deal starting in 2026, which should cover it. But the W doesn’t have a system for revenue sharing between teams.

If WNBA valuations are from mid-2025, revenue is probably for 2024. Noting that the Lynx had more revenue but lower valuation than the Merc, Storm, and Aces, which I presume is related to those 3 teams all having new practice facilities of their own (whereas the Lynx share with the Wolves).
