When I was a freshman in college, there was a ping-pong table in the basement. A group of friends and I were pretty, pretty good players. But there was one guy - Loren - who was just better than the rest of us. He was a soulless ping-pong killing machine.

Well folks, it’s that time of year again… after 5 months it’s time to say goodbye to my good friend The Beard.
I think I may keep the new look for today, at least.
It was/is massive! 50m Olympic pool.
It was a long-ass ride on our Huffy dirt bikes from Humboldt Park to Wilson Park, but we hit that pool on the regular. Never once saw the diving platforms open, though.
