🙏 We need your help 🙏

The government continues to cancel grants at both NIH and NSF to censor science it doesn't like.

We're tracking terminations to organize and advocate. Please report your terminated grants:

our new paper led by Qiwei Li shows that among take down requests to websites, the median infringing URL takes more than 45 days to be removed, and only 5.39% of URLs are removed within the first 48 hrs. More than half of URLs are deindexed from Google Search w/in 48 hrs.

my grant w/ @eegilbert.org on non-consensual intimate content, which disproportionately impacts women, is in the Ted Cruz database. The irony? Ted Cruz himself introduced a bill into Congress last year on this exact same topic and he went live on TV saying it impacts women.

120. The Impoundment Crisis of 2025 The Trump administration's Monday spending freeze is likely to provoke a crisis over the constitutionality of "impoundment"—one that the justices could well have to resolve *very* soon.

For "One First," I wrote about Monday's OMB memo purporting to (temporarily) freeze billions of dollars of appropriated federal spending—and why it constitutes both unconstitutional and unlawful "impoundment" that's unlikely to be upheld by even *this* #SCOTUS:

Seems like you're doing things right. We need to avg one active grant/yr w/ 2 months salary (we typically cover 2 not 3 mos). imo if you collab with senior people, make sure you get funding/benefits proportionate to the work you do to submit it (don't do free work for them bc you're "junior").

I told FB I was a 70 something man when I was pregnant with my first and did not like seeing the weight loss ads. It got rid of them out on FB, and pretty sure they're minimized on IG. Shouldn't have to do that ofc. And means I get other stuff (colon cancer, adult depends, etc).

I would not do that, though "really batshit stuff" can be interpreted widely. :) Looking at the journalist and their recent articles is a bright line for me assuming topic is otherwise a fit.
