When you can't get a job, function in society or feed a family, those ideas fly out the window. Getting a degree is an incredibly expensive endeavor with poor outcomes for most. I earned 2 degrees. I did not "develop" because of college, but in spite of it. Thank God I didn't accrue massive debt
Agreed. An we need to stop sending kids to college. It is a waste of time and money. They have no interest in meeting the needs of students, employers or society at large
Which is why we should have done something long ago. My own undergraduate experience was subpar (1980s). Too much time and money is wasted on meaningless, uninspiring work. We are still rearranging the chairs on the deck of the Titanic and simultaneously ignoring all these cries for help. #EduSky
