I think people want AI to be useless, to consume huge amounts of water, etc. because that lets you find another reason for it to be bad that isn’t: it’s useful and that’s why it’s bad. The thing works and is getting better, millions have found use cases for it, and that is why it is bad.

I would have voted for her in a 2024 Dem primary but it’s safe to say that she is toast in a 2028 primary

MCP = Model Context Protocol, which Anthropic invented for getting LLMs to talk to the outside world. Seems like a Tron reference?

Here's an example where Claude generated a query with both LEFT JOIN and GROUP BY in it. It's pretty good at writing SQL for all the things I've tried so far.

Allison Riggs won the election for NC Supreme Court. Changing the rules after the election to throw out the votes of tens of thousands of North Carolinians who followed all of the rules is a travesty.

/4 In my view, a movement that so transparently rejects the deal β€” so obviously adopts the policy β€œthe only valid result is I win” β€” is not entitled to the protections of the votes-instead-of-sticks approach.

They should get the sticks.

How many of those 65,000 voters have moved (within the state or not) or died? Likely over a thousand β€” it’s been five months.

Those votes were perfectly legal at the time even if the voter is unreachable now.

But also, a very bad precedent to say Republicans can just re-run any election they lose.

North Carolina Democrats WILL fight this decision. But make no mistake, the statewide court of appeals bench has cowered to political pressure and corruption from their own party. The NCGOP and RNC are trying to steal an election and test the waters for future election denial.

Most rich people understand that the candidates need their money, not their sparkling personalities. Elon may never realize how toxic he is, but the actual politicians certainly will.

Of Course Trump Will Tank the Economy. It’s What Republicans Do. As the president’s β€œLiberation Day” nears, it’s time to liberate ourselves from the vicious cycle of Democrats having to clean up the GOP’s messes.

One statistic for you:

β†’ Net jobs created under Clinton and Obama: 33.8 million.
β†’ Net jobs created under Bush, Bush, AND Trump: 1.9 million.

That is not a typo.
