We should legislate identity portability for email addresses.
We have it for phone numbers, where the technical challenge was much greater. We should have it for email, too.

Rant of the day: Everybody, can we please remember that 'gifted' is an adjective, not a verb?
A person is gifted. A present is given.
Thank you.

Random observations of the day: Greenland has about 1/1000 of the population of the UK. The per-capita GDP of the two countries is almost identical.
I expect Putin would like to buy back Alaska too.

Hey, @opensource.google - does this give you any inspiration?
Yes, I have some stuff on Hetzner already, and am planning to move more of my services from AWS and DigitalOcean, quite probably to there.

A groundbreaking Β£5 million trial, announced on Sunday will see home HIV testing kits ordered at the touch of a button through the NHS App. The trial will allow at-risk patients to order home HIV tests seamlessly, receive results securely, and contact their GP or sexual health clinics - all from their phone. The new digital service will offer a discreet route for those anxious about their sexual health to get tested without visiting a clinic.
You'll soon be able to order an HIV testing kit from the NHS app.
