Yeah i mostly just did what came to mind, I could easily do a top 9 for many different genres like jrpgs, although Grandia 1 wouldn't go in there 😛
Don't get me wrong, I have fond memories of playing it on PS1, it's a cherished memory, but playing it now? It's a slog for me. 😭
Some games I love, I tried to pick games from different genres so they're like examples of fave games from those types of genres.

Sorry, what I meant was, it's only revealed to be all a dream at the end of the entire show, the last episode. It's not much of a show to spoil though so sod it, it's The Brittas Empire, a comedy show. If I ever watch it again I'll just not watch that last episode.
There was a British TV show that did this but every single season was all a dream in the end, and it ran for 7 seasons.
I was surprised by just how different the American Big Brother is to the versions in UK and Australia. I really didn't like all the back stabbing.

Yep! It struck me that it was trying to be like Guardians of the galaxy but gotg is good, this isn't. The irish robot guy, what on earth, this isn't Men in Black.
I also felt like it just tossed away Phillipa's character arc from what little I saw of it.
Someone I don't know who didn't want people to quote post them said that they're too busy to watch star trek now they're "hanging out" with a woman.
Or you could y' know, do both of these things at different times. Or do like me and find yourself a girlfriend who also watches Star Trek. 😊
Section 31 on the other hand, felt like the biggest middle finger to Star Trek ever. It's the only new Trek anything I've not been able to watch all the way through, it's that bad.
It wasn't so much about the pranks, it was the over the top elements like talking plants and the robots cheering on the gym class, and the soundtrack. It all felt to me like i was watching a completely different show. But it's just one episode so I'll just skip it in future 😅
Yeah episode 3 made me despise the show briefly but since then it's had some of the best new Trek episodes of any new Trek show. (There's something worse than that third episode though, it's called Section 31..)

I've also spent about a month of game dev time in the very first room of the game because that's where I've been setting up everything, im almost sick of seeing the main character's bedroom! At least the other areas won't take as long when systems are largely now set in place.

I've only been working on it part time, as a hobby, so it still being in the early stages and seeing the time taken being about the same as it took me to finish making a whole game before when I worked on it about 8 hours a day is quite daunting!
I'm not gonna judge you, I made all my background rooms before designing puzzles so they'll likely need changes made.. however it's all in Blender so it's not that big a deal! It's generally advised to do mocked up assets but I just wanted to do it this way!
Haha I've seen so many indie devs do this over the years! Like literally not a single in game screenshot but the title screen and logo is complete.

I didn't like this guy when I first saw him in Indiana jones, there was something about him that made me think he's probably a jerk in real life. I couldn't have been more right..

I think I read this years ago and forgot all about it! It's great! My doors are definitely not going to be shown opening and closing because it will add hours on to my dev time lol.
It's like I truly forgot all the extra coding stuff I'd have to do just for say one door in my game:
- Player can't approach door due to obstruction in the room
- Player can walk to door but door is busted unless..
- Player has tools to fix the door
- Player can use the door
Hellbilly deluxe 1 is my second favourite behind Sinister Urge but yeah, could do without the fluff. Hellbilly deluxe 2 has 4 or 5 excellent tracks and then derails lol
