If you think technology will solve your problems, you don't understand technology and you probably don't understand your problems either.
Monthly reminder: Many people have a book in them, but it takes a special kind of freak to leave the Land of Laziness, cross the Plains of Procrastination and Insecurity Mountain, find the Blade of No One Made You Do This, and use it to cut your chest open and yank that book out.

Should you change your habits? Absolutely. Design your routine intentionally and regularly. Small actions daily unlock your growth. Whatβs your 1 key habit right now?
Wow! Naming a negative emotion drops it in intensity by 20%, and if it's a happy one, can contribute to savoring it. That makes me feel excited.
Did you know that 85% of jobs are filled through networking? π° And a staggering 72% of professionals admit to feeling uncomfortable with networking. I see this a lot in my clients. Don't let discomfort hold you back from opportunities! π
We all have 24 hours in a day. How we use them that sets us apart. Imagine converting 30 minutes of daily social media scrolling into productive time. That's 2,700 minutes over 90 days! What could you achieve?
Try this: Instead of thinking of the mundane tasks of day-to-day responsibilities as "chores", as things one "must do" or "ought to do" and mostly don't want to do, reframe them as gifts for other people or for you future self. A simple, powerful shift.
I'm grateful for the opportunity to work with Heather and for her generous words.
π Stop equating being busy with being productive! π Being busy doesnβt mean you are productive or effective; often youβre just focusing too much on things that donβt matter.
I get it. It's easy to fall into the trap of constantly on. Try this instead: decide to be present, define boundaries, transition mindfully between tasks, and turn off the d%!n notifications.
Are you thriving or just surviving? Step into your optimal zone: energized, clear, and empowered. Where do you stand? #PotentializeYou
I'm always curious when someone says they "want" to do something. Really? Or is it a distraction? Feeding some addictive regret? Take action. Speed is always a friend.
Here's how to own your mindset: Choose who you want to be, practice with intention, repeat, manage your energy, and show yourself compassion.
Big goals? Slice them thin. One small win at a time, savor the progress, share the journey. Thatβs how real change sticks.
From James Clear, Atomic Habits: "A simple filter for managing your time: You're not focused enough unless you're mourning some of the things you're saying no to."
π How the brain loves shortcuts: biases, snap judgments, chasing whatβs new. Want better decisions? Slow down. Question your instincts.
What everyone gets wrong about emotional regulation β We can control our emotional states, but when we are sleep deprived, hypoglycemic, and stressed, our ability to manage our feelings nose dives.
Ever wondered why time flies or drags? How elastic is time? β³
I can't believe I still have clients who say they are "not bothered" by constant notifications. Really? Distraction lowers productivity by 20% (that bothers me!). A single interruption can throw scheduled task off by two to three hours. I set specific times when I can be interrupted.
What do you do with perfectionist tendencies? I treat my inner perfectionist as a member of my team. Where can she be most helpful?
Who else gets bored after 10 minutes? Donβt judge yourself. Itβs natural. We are an absentminded species. Our brain is hard-wired to ignore most stimuli it does not find threatening or stimulating enough. So schedule focus work for 10-50 minutes, depending on energy levels. Less energy, less time.
