📢 Great to see that the New Naver Bridge, located along the A836 near Bettyhill , is now open to traffic.
Demolition of the existing bridge starts today (Thursday 5 March) and continues until the end of March 2026.
Though currently open only as single carriageway, the new bridge, which is part of
🟣 Additionally, £4,000 was donated to sustainable energy charity, ALIenergy, to support their ‘cosy kit’ scheme which provides hot water bottles, blankets, gloves, hats and scarves for the elderly in rural communities.

Highland Council has distributed £8,000 worth of supermarket vouchers to vulnerable adults and children in partnership with Union Technical who deliver community benefits as part of the Energy Efficient Scotland: Area Based Scheme (EES:ABS) programme.
