The three main stories are Trump's Tariff Setback, more US Manufacturing, and the Apple 'Experience' and the new MacBook Neo.
A wide view of thin wispy white clouds against a deep blue sky. The clouds have intricate lace-like looping textures, broken on by one small contrail.
The delicate detail in the early morning high clouds caught my eye as I head out the door this morning. Clouds can be so intricate!
A square too-down view of light brown very fine silty mud with little straight cracks cris-crossing it randomly. A wide tyre track with v-shaped grips runs straight down the right edge of the frame.
Nature doesn't make very straight lines very often, but when silty mud freezes it splits with very straight cracks. Shot this with the new iPhone's wonderful 8x telephoto looking straight down from quite a tall bridge.
So, this is a telephoto view looking straight down on about a 1.5m square of frozen mud from a high bridge.
Close, but not quite. Noting living involved.
A square monochrome view of a smooth surface cris-crossed with very straight short lines at various angles.
Nature is full of interesting patterns. What did I snap first thing this morning?
A low, close, but wide portrait-oriented view of a clump of a few tens of big yellow trumpet-shaped flowers on foot and a half tall stalks rising abode a tight cluster of wide dark green grass-shaped leaves. The flowers are growing under big tall bare trees, and a deep blue sky is visible between the branches.
Gold under blue β one of the many big clumps of big yellow daffodils growing along the paths under the still bare Lime trees in St. Patrick's College #Maynooth on our first fully clear day of spring 2026! #Bloomscrolling
A square macro view of a very low plant with round flat dark green leaves and small sun-like yellow flowers growing between brown leaves, all bathed in soft sunlight.
These beautiful Lesser Celandines add a splash of yellow to our forest floors from spring to autumn, but they spend most of that time in the shade. These first few weeks of spring, before the leaves come out, are the only chance to see them bathed in sunlight. #Bloomscrolling
A low wide portrait-oriented view of a line of foot-tall golden yellow trumpet-shaped flowers atop individual stalks rising over spiky dark green leaves. The flowers are lining the left side of a footpath winding between bare trees. Warm sun bathes the flowers, and blue sky is visible between the branches. The nearest flowers are in sharp GPUs which falls off rapidly into the distance.
Beautiful smal golden Daffodils bathed in spring sunshine along a pedestrian entrance to @maynoothuniversity.ie #Bloomscrolling
A landscape view across a 4-lane road junction deep in dusk with traffic lights (all on red), lit street lights, and a full moon just above the silhouette of a bare tree behind the junction.
Moonrise at the edge of suburbia β it was perfectly clear yesterday evening, so I could spot the full #Moon rising right at the horizon and snap this shot while waiting for the green light in the cycle lane.
A top-down view of a bronze sculpture of a pair of tattered old shoes on a granite stone column with a small stone placed on the shoes with a floral pattern painted on it by hand, outlined in white, with the petals painted in different colours.
Someone has placed a beautifully painted stone on the poignant famine memorial at Pike Bride along the #RoyalCanal opposite the main entrance to Carton House east of #Maynooth.
Recorded and assembled from my hospital bed, with help from @eddietonkoi@mastodon.social @spsheridan.bsky.social and @bartb.ie, we bring you the NosillaCast without interruption!

A square telephoto macro view of a branch in a hedgerow covered in sharp green thorny pin-like leaves and with small yellow pea-like flowers at the tip. A hit of blue sky can be seen in soft focus through the hedgerow.
The first flush of flower is washing over the very prickly Gorse/Furze/Whin bushes in the Irish hedge rows. #Bloomscrolling
We'll have a solo Security Bits from @bartb.ie on this week's show β here's his shownotes if you want the sneak peek with all the links:

A top-down view of a cluster of cup-shaped purple flowers with golden yellow stamens growing between green grass.
Purple crocuses in the spring sunshine! #Bloomscrolling
A square-cropped telephoto view of a small mostly brown rather round little bird with a ruddy red breast perched on a wooden fence looking down at something tempting. The fence divides the shot approximately diagonally from top-left to bottom-right.
This little (European) Robin sat still just long enough for me to snap one shot β I love having the iPhone 17 Pro's 8x telephoto with me at all times, and without the efficiency of the dedicated camera control I'd probably have just missed too!
A close, wide, shallow DOF, portrait-oriented view of a tight cluster of foot-tall golden yellow trumpet-shaped flowers with lush green grass-shaped leaves. The background is a suburban street in soft focus with a hint of bare trees and a cloudy sky.
This spectacular cluster of dwarf Daffodils really brightened up my walk to work this morning! #Bloomscrolling #Maynooth
A close portrait-oriented of a small single while bell-shaped flower with little green accents hanging down from a 3 inch stalk and growing between a free dark green grass-like leaves.
A single perfect little snowdrop peeping up through the decaying remains of last summer's oak leaves in #CartonHouse near #Maynooth. #Bloomscrolling
A low wide shot of a cluster of yellow trumpet-shaped flowers at the top of foot-tall stalks rising above tight clusters of dark green grass-shaped leaves. The flowers are growing up between brown leaves next to a path lined with bare trees. One pedestrian can be seen in the background.
Last week I dinβt see any daffodils, this week theyβre everywhere! These cute little dwarf ones are lining the pedestrian entrance to @maynoothuniversity.ie opposite Aldi. #Bloomscrolling #Maynooth
A wide-screen wide angle view of a parallel railway, canal, and path at dusk. Darkness has almost completely fallen, the streetlights along the path are lit, but there is still gentle orange light on the horizon. On the left bank of the canal the silhouette of a long commuter train with lit windows stretches into the distance as the train, canal, and path all converge on a distant vanishing point.
A leisurely evening commute β an #IrishRail #train likely filled with students returning to their digs for another busy week of study coasts into #Maynooth along the banks of the #RoyalCanal as Sunday dusk falls.
A low view of a small clump of foot-tall yellow flowers growing on a grassy verge with a hedgerow and blue sky behind in soft focus. The flowers are growing on tall stalks sticking up above tall dark green grass-like leaves. Just one trumpet-shaped flower is open, and one bulb is just about to open to its left. A small bee is visible crawling on the flower.
I met my first daffodils of the year today, brightening up a random rural Kildare roadside near Prosperous. As a little bonus, the first bee I've seen this year was feeding on it. #Bloomscrolling
Let's Talk Photo 149 "Sliders go Both Ways!" with @bartb.ie is out: lets-talk.ie/ltp149
In this solo show Bart reminds you that the sliders in your editing app go both ways, even those you reflexively always slide in the same direction!
A ground-level square black and white view of large neo-gothic stone buildings with a church spire rising behind with clumps of small white bell-shaped flowers hanging down from individual stalks between pointed glass-like leaves in the foreground. The scene is framed by bare tree branches and the sky above is cloudy.
Spring in St. Patrick's β a wide deep view of the little snowdrops hiding under the big trees lining the grand avenues in St. Patrick's College #Maynooth. #Bloomscrolling
Want to really understand this AI stuff? No one explains it more simply or more clearly than Geoffrey Hinton β to explain something clearly and simply you need to understand it deeply, since he helped found the entire, I doubt anyone has a deeper understanding!

A portrait-oriented night shot showing a star field framed by the bare branches of big trees. Nearby street lights are illuminating the tips of the branches to help them stand out from the navy blue night sky.
The hunter through the trees β the very recognisable shape of Orion, the hunter, framed by the bare branches of the big Lime trees on Carton Avenue in #Maynooth. #astrophotography
A low close view of a clump of small white bell-shaped flowers, each hanging down from a dedicated stalk, rising above dark green grass-shaped leaves. The flowers are growing between the grass in front of large historic buildings hinted at in soft focus behind. The distinctive shapes of a church spire and grand bare trees dominate the soft focus.
Snowdrops on 'the Graph' in St. Patrick's College #Maynooth, add in a splash of brightness between the many many splashes of rain. #Bloomscrolling
A black and white shot of a hand-written sign, in sharpie that reads βDO NOT PUT BOOGERS ON THE WALL!!β
If every sign is a history, what does this one say about the students I share my building with π³
A black and white landscape view down a straight stretch of tree-lined canal with a gravel path on the near bank and a railcar-type train approaching from the right on the far bank. The parallel lines converge diagonally towards a vanishing point in the right upper background.
An #IrishRail InterCity reflected in the #RoyalCanal as it accelerates away from #Maynooth on a dull but tranquil February afternoon.
A low and wide black and white shot of a small clump of small white bell-shaped flowers hanging down from single-flower stalks rising up above thin glass-like leaves on the leaf-strewn floor of an old cemetery with large old stone tombstones and big old tree trunks behind.
Spring in the cemetery β Snowdrops between the old headstones around the ruined church at Laraghbryan cemetery in #Maynooth. #Bloomscrolling
A low closeup of small white bell-shaped flowers hanging down from single flower stalks sticking up above narrow drag green grass-like leaves. Old headstones at odd angles are visible behind in soft focus.
Snowdrops in the old part of Laraghbryan Cemetery in #Maynooth. #Bloomscrolling
