I wrote about how the US and Israel carried out an attack on an Iranian girls school on par with the OKC bombing and US media relegated it to a back page story. No stand alone evening news segments, no front page stories, it made A11 in the NYT then everyone moved on.
I don't have any inside info, but I very much doubt it's an intentional strategy to get ratioed and drive hate clicks.
I think they've belatedly started caring that they trashed their reputation with the left, think it's due to misinformation, and that hectoring ppl will help.
I'm really baffled by why NYT would handle BlueSky PR like this and it convinces me they must actively pursue hate-clicks from leftists. Can a local reporter please run an exposé on this account specifically? Like what are they thinking

This is the people who were against austerity, are anti-racist, who didn’t like the wars, struggling to get on. *Loads* of people like this. Did it not occur to anyone that relentlessly plastering all channels with “Fuck You, Specifically” was going to give these people the impression you hate them?
If you read the next post I contrast that with cases where there's evidence of harm. The meaning was clearly not on that basis *alone,* even though the word alone isn't there.
