In a ceremony held yesterday at the South Carolina State House, Senator Tameika Isaac Devine read a Senate resolution declaring May 5, 2025 as “Missing and Murdered Indigenous Woman Red Dress Day” in South Carolina, marking it as the first formal recognition of MMIW Red Dress Day by the Senate.
