Ugh, man, Iβm really sorry. I hate that we live in a time when one needs a dash cam for accountability in case of a hit and run β¦ but, well, just yesterday I shared my drive cam footage with a motorist whose car was hit right in front of me at a traffic light. Sigh.
βIn filled the slurs, until reeled the chat.β Why get hung up on where they filled in from, eh?
(*giggles*)
Thomas, Thomas, Thomas: why be NIMBY when you can just be quiet?
Right? The list of plausible Democratic candidates is _short_.
Stan's right about what we deserve, on the current trajectory β but what I _hope_ is for Dems in Sacramento to β if they think they have the bandwidth β fix the top-two primary system by giving primary voters a ranked-choice ballot.
(I'm referencing the essay linked here, if you've never read it:)
A downside of political parties, as voters in most other democracies understand them, being unlawful in the U.S.: never having party leadership with the institutional authority to squeeze also-rans from futile races.
Right? FOH, head up Scott Blvd to the Stone Mountain Freeway, keep f'ing off to Athens, and then we'll let the good folks there keep running you all the way to Spartanburg.
Heβs managed to one-up that, by giving us a war with no clear objectives whatsoever. Β―\_(γ)_/Β―
βPolitically correct warsβ might rival in absurdity, as a locution, all-time greats such as βdancing about architectureβ and βgreen pastel redness.β

Er β¦ did anybody at the Pentagon tell anyone in the Iraqi government that we were planning to show up?
Darn straight, Sky and β¦ (*checks handle*) um, PeePeePooPoo Deep Dish Enjoyer.
Hard to bring a quick end to this mess, even if that's necessary to head off economic bedlam, if we've killed off most of the leaders capable of ordering a cease fire and making the order stick.
How many different NATO partners do U.S. right-wing types plan to fantasize about taking on? We're edging from derangement here toward an impulse that seems significantly more disturbing, frankly.

"his arm was broken": how? His arm was broken how?
As if Waffle House would ever want to be known as the racist coffeeklatch diner. Pssh.
A country doesn't elevate a proud and loud reprobate, one of the worst people on the planet, to the highest office in the land β twice! β when its people trust each other's judgment. I sure as hell do mistrust the moral ascertainment of half this country, and I do so with good reason.
@donmoyn.bsky.social notes that Canada and the U.S. sit on opposite ends of this chart β and frankly speaking, well, they're both right.
Exactly. I drive on LFP, I haven't seen any de-rating yet β I've only charged at its max rate one time, but over β₯1.5 years its capacity has remained completely steady.
Still, I haven't heard of LFP cells accepting _that_ much current. I'm impressed.
Charging _that_ fast with LFP? Holy smoke!
Kristilynn would have _never_.
Good luck to Markwayne Jimbob Bubbaman, ready on day one to show the courage that leading the Department of Homeland Security requires.
Turns out lawlessness is not a winning strategy. See you at Nuremberg 2.0
We have peacocks in my neighborhood, which is in another part of town β but yeah, this experience was new to me. A woman walking to the coffee shop I'd left with a baby in her arm was agog with excitement; that, honestly, was wonderful enough.
She may have lost her membership in the cabinet β but she'll always be a member of the Mile-High Club.
