I was finally able to test the install on the Retro GEM by @pixelfx.co for the GameCube. Overall, very straightforward install. Not very complicated at all.

This kit offers proper 240p support *without* the unwanted speed-up that you’d otherwise see with the RGB mod, or with the mode toggle switch some revisions have.

Since both target the same legs on the chip, you can only have one installation

Both kits use the same chip, so it’s just not possible at the moment.

My first 3DO GEM installation! With none other than Out of This World being demonstrated!

The flex pitch is the same as the PS1’s GPU (0.5mm), but these legs are much sturdier 💪

Ignore the V-Sync test result; apparently it’s an encoder-related oddity

This happened a few years ago; customer did a good job packing it too :((
