Another of my 2003-2015 #CardiffCity series ... this one of Michael Chopra, a Bluebird icon at both Ninian Park and Cardiff City Stadium.

Feels cool to also feature Kevin Campbell, who despite his status was really down to earth. More to come. Any shouts on the next #smsports feature?

Continuing my former #CardiffCity series [players from my 2003-2015 club timeline to start] with double promotion winner, multi-hair / beard wearer and all round nice fella, Aron Gunnarsson. Had fun with this one. #smsports

Joe Ledley, Cardiff City Football Club

Kicking off my former Bluebird #smsports series of #CardiffCity icons is yesterday's birthday boy, Joe Ledley. It's fun working on past players, if not a tad challenging finding suitable quality images. We'll give it a go though.

Let me know who you'd like done next, or I'll decide myself.

Another Cardiff City image, with more to come. I mean, it's called BLUEsky after all. I'm going to make a collection of former players as time allows. The first one is done and will be posted next. Feel free to shout out with any suggestions, if wanted.

For absolutely no reason, here's a pic of Kevin McNaughton in Danger Mouse attire [minus head], taken at the 2008 #CardiffCity FA Cup squad recording with James Fox at the famous Monnow Valley. Kev is looking on as Steven Thompson records his fab track. Good times.

Catching up with a recent, new #CardiffCity image, as to be used on my upcoming site.

This one covers my 2003 - 2015 tenure at Ninian Park and CCS. Those were the days, indeed [at least until 2012]. Chris Barker the prime candidate for leading man.

Let’s hope so. Returning players could make a difference, even with it all looking more than a little rudderless.

Of course, Swansea get thrashed 4-0 by Pompey, which combined with the 1-1 Cardiff City draw has seen Portsmouth climb the foot of the table. Goal difference could end up being decisive too.

Chatting with a mate over Christmas, I’ve maintained a belief of narrow survival. Today, I’m not so sure.

Two positive early results for relegation rivals Pompey and Hull puts added pressure on #CardiffCity before kickoff. No probs though, it’s only a match against the league leading Blades today πŸ˜³βš”οΈ

Old Cardiff City FC carrier bag

Old Cardiff City FC carrier bag

Two facts:

1. #CardiffCity were more fun and different bonkers in the days of this club shop carrier bag.

2. I don't throw away old stuff if there's even a hint of nostalgia.

While I do think the FAB could have sent the open letter to the club at least a few hours before posting to adhere to an agreed process (maybe they did), I'm with you on this one.

The statement is of little help to anyone, with mild narcissist tones in getting angry at a response to poor behaviour.

I didn't jump on this straight away, but have to agree with Scott on @deck.blue being a great desktop addition with old world TweetDeck vibes. Nice.

Once installed it's one less browser tab too. All that's left to do now is find a way of getting rid of the other 68 Chrome tabs. Oh, and get a job πŸ˜πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«

Footie question: For desktop, are there any websites where you can still see fixtures next to a league table?

The BBC used to be perfect before fully embracing mobile first. From quick research, most sites carry info in separate tabs. Soccerbase was the closest, with some scrolling up and down.

As reluctant as the timeline suggests, at least the Omer Riza confirmation takes the topic off the table for a while. I'd wager that Dalman wanted to try for Rudd van Nistelrooy, what with his loose Man Utd affinities. Tan also for the "name". But we were never winning that race. Stability will do.

Amazon Prime "Every Game, Every Goal" for the Premier League with Jeff Stelling

I'd hoped that the #PremierLeague festive Wednesday format, "Watch Every Game Every Goal" on Amazon Prime was going to see Jeff Stelling replicate NFL RedZone with Scott Hanson. Sadly it's another panel on a sofa ... though I do admit football is trickier than American Football to make it all work.

Junichi also deserves praise for wearing that god awful [and strangely heavy] silk style Puma shirt - one that Peter Thorne cut the collars off. Smart fella. Magic fella. Had a hat.

Thanks to the #CardiffCity feed, we get to say Happy Retirement to 03/04 loan Bluebird, Junichi Inamoto. Over 16 games Junichi gave us a glimpse of what it was like to have an international 'star' on the books, thanks to MULTIPLE photographers and visiting fans [sometimes watching Ina on the bench.

A headline so awkward (and seemingly automated) they said it twice, with typos.

While we’re here, linked article posts really shouldn’t replicate the headline, as also seen in the preview. So in this case we have FOUR instances. Basic stuff.

Kenny Miller scores against Blackburn Rovers in the Carling Cup

OTD, 29 Nov 2011: Cardiff City beat Blackburn Rovers 2-0 in the Carling Cup. By doing so they reached the semi-finals for the first time since 1966.

The match was first game after the tragic loss of Gary Speed, with the Wales’ boss name sung throughout the game. Goals from Filip Kiss & Kenny Miller
