Privacy Badger 2026.2.20 improves tracker blocking in Chrome.
Before, PB sometimes failed to block what should've been blocked, and blocked what should've been ignored, thanks to a long-known Google's Manifest V3 limitation.

Thank you! We are working on Privacy Badger for Safari on macOS. Itβs not a straightforward port because of Safari bugs and divergences in behavior from other browsers.
When trackers ignore DNT/GPC signals, Privacy Badger blocks them. In other words, Privacy Badger enforces DNT/GPC.
Can you switch to a different, up-to-date browser such as Firefox?
Agreed, uBO is great.
PB still automatically learns, just not on your device. For more, see www.eff.org/deeplinks/20...
We get great "bang for the buck" with a browser extension. Don't get me wrong, an extension is still a lot of work but not too much.
uBO works well by itself. uBO also works well with PB. You might want to use PB on top of uBO for PB-specific features like widget replacement. You may also enjoy the extra protection from two different block lists. For more, see privacybadger.org#How-is-Priva...
Privacy Badger 2025.12.9 is live in all supported browsers.
Notably, we fixed various screen reader and keyboard navigation bugs. If you have feedback on how to make Privacy Badger more accessible, please let us know!

It makes sense. The lists are different and Privacy Badger does more than just block domains on a list.

Does your Privacy Badger show a "Privacy Badger has replaced this Twitch Player widget" placeholder once you click "I UNDERSTAND" on livestream.eff.org?
If you see the placeholder, you should be able to allow the Twitch widget once or always on eff.org. Let me know if that doesn't work for you.
uBO is great, but it's apples and oranges. PB is different: does not use ad blocker lists (not an ad blocker!), made by a non-profit, fights for a better web. The two extensions work well by themselves, and work well together too.

Red ought to do it, but heads up, full blocking of "accounts.google.com" will break some login pages entirely. That's why we have it set to yellow by default.
Good domain to fully block if you're comfortable using the "Disable for this site" button when something goes wrong.
Safari for iOS lacks certain extension capabilities needed by Privacy Badger, but we should figure something out eventually.
As far as other iOS browsers, you could try installing the Orion browser and adding Privacy Badger there.
If you have any feedback or would like more support, please email us at extension-devs@eff.org. Thank you for making private browsing more accessible!

Hello! You can turn off the welcome tab with "showIntroPage". You can find our admin configuration doc at github.com/EFForg/priva...
Let me know if you have any questions.
uBO and PB are different and complimentary tools. PB does not use ad blocker lists, fights for a better web, comes with own features (click-to-replace widgets).

By the way, if you don't use Firefox, and your Privacy Badger is on version 2025.9.2, that's probably the problem. Updating to 2025.9.5 will fix a bunch of inadvertently broken sites.
To update in Chrome/Edge, visit the Manage Extensions page, enable "Developer mode" and click the "Update" button.
Sorry about that! Do you have an example handy? I just checked, but I didn't notice any problems.
If you're asking about Safari on macOS, we're waiting on bug fixes from Apple before we can proceed.
Otherwise, we're available on Firefox, Chrome and Edge. Visit privacybadger.org to see if your browser is supported.
Brave has a built-in ad blocker as well as anti-fingerprinting countermeasures. Privacy Badger is not ad blocker and works well in combination with ad blockers. You're fine with or without PB. Do you like what PB does and want to join our fight for a better web? privacybadger.org#How-is-Priva...
Chrome does not yet support extensions on Android.
You can add Privacy Badger to either Firefox for Android or Microsoft Edge for Android though.
We are working on Safari for macOS first. (We're currently stuck waiting on bug fixes from Apple.)
Safari for iOS lacks certain extension capabilities needed by Privacy Badger, but we should figure something out eventually.

Millions browse the web on school, library, and workplace computers that leave them exposed to hidden trackers. Privacy Badger can be installed organization-wide to enhance privacy and security on these devices. www.eff.org/deeplinks/2...
