Canadians are (largely) way more compassionate towards Americans right now than they need to be. They would be justified spitting on us on sight. But every Canadian I meet here has treated me with the utmost kindness and has been welcoming. If roles were reversed…would Americans be so kind?👇

It’s my understanding “flag-jacking” is something Canadians used to tolerate and brush off, but now it is an outright affront.

I catch myself occasionally talking about historical events like, "We did X and that caused Y" when the truth is it was white men in power. There are entire populations of people who had nothing to do with "X"
