Beside your point, but this labeling is confusing to me, actually. Ground floor is a term used in the UK to refer to the 1st floor in the US, 1st floor (UK) is 2nd floor (US), 2nd floor (UK) is 3rd floor (US) and so on. I wonder where the label-creator is actually from. 😆

To provide some more detail (since Brooklyn is a huge borough), Inwould say Williamsburg is like Shoreditch, Bushwick is somewhat like Brixton, and much of the rest of Brooklyn and much of Queens is similar to, say, Lewisham and Peckham.
