Went through this about 6 months ago and didn’t trust any specific site. Ended up reading multiple reviews for year/model combos to get an average sense of reliability and quality.
That being said, we had a firm and small budget, which eliminated a lot of cars to research!

Finally got my background check for flying (Zuverlassungsüberprüfung), so now I just have to wait for the invite to the scheduling platform and my flight book and I can finally start flying in a real plane

Yeah, being able to swap them out mid-flight or at a stopover makes replaceable batteries seem pretty convenient, especially if you use rechargeable ones!
Wow, ok! Thanks for reporting back! I’m pretty much committed at this point, but I’ll probably wait until I get past the radio parts of the program so I can at least know what I’m doing with the radio to justify it a bit 😂
Is it because most items in the kitchen serve a utilitarian purpose? When these things live in a cabinet or drawer, aesthetics don’t matter much. The same can’t be said for almost anywhere else in the house!
I don’t think I’ve ever regretted investing in the kitchen. Small things like a timer (with three concurrent timers!) or mise en place dishes, medium things like a carbon steel pan, or large things like an induction cooktop all increase the joy of cooking
