It her Bday :3
And I'm fired up, like hell yeah let's entry desu ne!
English localization for Taiki Shuttle is fun. Because they don't dub the voice acting, you'll go over to the race subsection of the main menu, she'll be there, and you read her localized text as "Wow! You fixin' to enter us in a race?" but her Japanese VA is yelling "WOAH! LET'S ENTRY DESU KA?"
I think about how Famitsu had a spin-off publication dedicated to the Xbox in Japan, and if you only knew about the Xbox via the covers of those magazines, you would've thought that the Xbox was made by Tecmo.
They kept giving me all the umas with fun stories and decided I was having too much fun.
We did a career run and she didn't want me to train her but then she did the training and I felt bad

Great Mazinger is piloted by one professional unhinged asshole.
The easiest way to not mix them up is that Mazinger has one unhinged asshole as a pilot and shoots its fist like a rocket, while Getter Robo is a combining robot that turns into three different robots and is piloted by three unhinged assholes.
I guess in this case folks should've covered their tracks a bit better regarding how they pay.
Dodged a bullet by not falling for the Proton privacy propaganda.
Though that does make me wonder about the other alleged privacy-focused services I do utilize regularly.

It probably was just a matter of there not being enough AES games getting released by that point. The last several years of the Neo Geo was SNK barely getting games out regularly before bankruptcy while also trying to figure out how to do console games again after their pre-Neo Geo NES/Famicom days.
Poking at some of these ROMs, it does seem like a lot of MVS exclusive games actually have an AES mode, since I imagine programming that in wasn't too much extra work or required too much space unless they added a bunch of weird modes.
Oddly, the sequel did get a proper AES release.
There are probably some leftover old Squaresoft fans that are still mad about the SquareEnix merger and think that the only reason it happened was because of The Spirits Within bombing (that movie bombing actually delayed the SquareEnix merger because Enix got cold feet after it)
Hell, in the US, it was basically just SNES Squaresoft and PS1 Squaresoft. You'd be hard pressed to find an American at the time that would acknowledge Enix.
Does Road Dogg not use the Armstrong name because he's too shitty even for the Armstrong Curse gimmick?
They call it Helix because when you see it you twist around and walk away
Weird how Shock Troopers 1 has an AES mode but wasn't released for the AES. I guess they could've always planned for a release on the AES but never committed.
My anxiety as a kid kept me from going to the SF2 or MK machines anyway due to how crowded they were. But the trusty Neo Geo machine got my back, and by that I mean it was at the back of the arcade where it wasn't as crowded.
If you say the word "arcade" once their brain basically shuts down.
If you tried to explain to a retro game influencer type that the Neo Geo AES was an expensive home console but the Neo Geo MVS was an inexpensive arcade platform and also they're basically the same except for the cartridge pinouts and the BIOS they're going to shit themselves from overthinking this.
I love how the Neo Geo is both the most expensive video game thing ever but also nobody knows anything about it at all apparently.
I don't think I ever heard much about Tecnosoft's problems.
Oh wait wrong company, am I confusing Technos Japan with Tecnosoft?
I've heard stories here and there that the management over there sucked and didn't want to spend money on anything. Its part of the reason why they stayed on the Famicom for so long but also didn't seem to care about Double Dragon as an IP beyond licensing it to anybody willing to pay.
I need them to hurry up and lose. Their business, that is. To TKO being cheap.
