As an IR professor, it's depressing that this is outperforming all others as the best theory of US foreign policy
How does free healthcare somehow equate to being communist? The USA is the outlier here. The UK, Spain, Italy, Brazil, Australia all offer free healthcare at point of use. Canada, Germany, France, Taiwan, South Korea, offer free healthcare, via mandatory insurance contributions via payroll taxes.
Wait. They are releasing Epstein files to distract Americans from the war in Iran now?
A Twitter user tweeted re Bluesky: βThe problem is with the people using it. Censorship, no matter how you choose to phrase it is still wrong. It should always be done on a personal level through individuals blocking others. Otherwise it's a centralized propaganda platform and I don't want to be a part of that. Propaganda will always be a problem as long as people are naive and lazy. So, it'll always be a problem. At least keep it decentralized.β
Who wants to tell them that they are already using a centralized propaganda platform
Free and fair elections are the cornerstone of our democracy. But right now, theyβre under attack.
Several Republican-controlled states have redrawn their congressional maps to give themselves an unfair advantage in the midterm elections.

Perhaps this is why so many Americans get drawn in by provably false conspiracy theories - a high proportion of people are convinced that everyone else is up to somethingβ¦
Neguse: βWhere's Safe America Media headquartered?β
Noem: βI donβt know.β
Neguse: βI donβt know either. We can't find itβ¦You want the American people to believe that this is all above board, that a $143 million of taxpayer money just happened to go to this one company that doesn't have a headquart
I find it astonishing that part of the discussion around this war is whether a a leader who started it will get bored with it or not
βOne of the refreshing things about βKnight of the Seven Kingdomsβ is how it is a more gentle character-driven story without all the gruesome violence of Game of Thrones.β
Episode 5: βHold my beer!β πΊ
Dan Romerβs music... π§βπ³π
Cheryl Mills vs Lauren Boebert is like bringing in a siege engine to crush a walnut

@realDonaldTrump tweet from 2012: βNow that Obama's poll numbers are in tailspin - watch for him to launch a strike in Libya or Iran. He is desperate.β
So Trump is starting WW3 out of some desperate attempt to distract from the Epstein files and improve his abysmal approval ratings. He knows that if the Dems take control of the senate and house during the mid-terms he will be powerless to stop them from investigating his criminal activities...
What better way to cheer up your day than with Gustavo Santaolalla and his ronroco... ππΆ
"A Knight of the Seven KIngdoms" soars in large part thanks to Dan Romer's beautiful score. So many goosebumps moments. His music reminds me of the best work by Thomas Newman and Gustavo Santaolalla. Just stunning.
But at least the eggs are cheaper nowβ¦.. right?
Ah okay. That does make sense.
Poor little hardware loses out to software once againβ¦!
The irony is that the kind of people who would vote for Trump 3 times are the kind of people who (a) believe his policies will never negatively affect them personally, (b) donβt care who they will affect, and (c) failed to pay attention enough last time to realise he doesnβt give a shit about them
This is v1.0.11.11
I discovered this immediately acting writing that post. I had not noticed it had been added! Glad this is now possible.
Screenshot of Prbble smartwatch app.
It has βHeartedβ and βShow incompatibleβ but I canβt see any other filters.
I just had another look and canβt find this scaled button. I am using iOS TestFlight. Is it available publicly yet?
Nice! Thatβs great! Iβm constantly impressed by the rapid progress being made with PebbleOS and the Pebble mobile apps, especially with such a small team, not to mention all the great community contributions too. Itβs great to see Pebble alive and kicking again!
4/ A βReportβ button for apps/faces would be good to report an issue. (Not working/Settings not working/Weather not working/crashing) which notifies dev or helps crowdsource tags for filtering etc.
3/ Apps/faces that are automatically upscaled should be differentiated from those have been optimized by the dev for the current watch. Iβd like to see badges on the AppStore page with βOptimized for PT2β etc. and the ability to filter the App Store to only display those optimized for my watch.
2. When βheartingβ an app (which is still not yet possible in native AppStore), the rating should apply to the currently active watch. Some apps/faces are amazing on one model of watch, less good on another. Ratings should reflect this. I want to see the most popular for my watch, not all watches.
