The Baird test transmission with Arthur Askey.
Takes one to know one.
We can all agree that I'd look fantastic on a £5 note
Boris Johnson
Starmer's attempt to play both sides has failed. He tried to look tough on Trump, but failed to condemn the illegal attack.
Then he let US bombers pit stop here.
He's dragged us into the war, and still managed to damage our reputation with the USA in the process.
This is Peter Davison telling you Doctor Who - Warriors of the Deep special edition is a massive improvement. He is right but I am now left wondering if it is too similar to Resurrection of the Daleks. It's a Remembrance of the Daleks / Silver Nemesis discussion again! #doctorwho
Worried your prawn sandwich might have frozen.
One of them could have been his mother. Whether it is creepy depends on which one.
Is Shane Richie still in EastEnders?
Girlfriend and I are planning a traditional Valentines Day this year. We're going to line up all our enemies against a wall and shoot them.
£240m. With no tender. Palantir.
I wrote to Wes Streeting last week demanding answers.
Every day without any transparency deepens the scandal.
Palantir out.
Perhaps as a compromise, Canada could share naming rights of the bridge. Name it after Trump and the famous Canadian historical figure Isa D'Mentedpaedo.
It might believe we're insects and kill us.
Last drama to be transmitted live as business-as-usual and not as a gimmick / anniversary celebration?
Why...?
That could be the CBeebies one for sure.
I once came second in a competition with over 100 entrants and missed out on a cash prize. I am now going to find the guy who won and mug him.
Photograph from 1911 taken by Herbert Ponting whilst with Scott's Antarctic Expedition The monochrome photo is taken from within a cave. The walls of the cave are made of ice. The cave entrance is in the mid distance with two figures standing looking out towards a distant ship. Between them and the ship there is first a 'beach' of ice before the sea itself. The ship could be up to 800 metres away What makes the photo so special is that where the figures are at the cave entrance there is a band of very white snow and ice (contrasting with the comparatively dark inside of the cave) that creates a stark framework in which the men and the ship are captured. It is made even more dramatic by the fact that the cave entrance is at least 30 metres high and is in the shape of a distorted elipse with the tail sloping off to the right at the top of the elipse The photo being in monochrome in a largely white environment makes the photographers skill all the more laudable
This photo was taken in 1911 using glass plate technology by Herbert Ponting who was part of Scott's Antarctic expedition,
The composition and detail are exquisite with the band of white snow/ice creating a perfect frame around the two people and the ship in the distance
Iconic imo
In arias?
How much do they pay bar staff?
Ok. Prove it?
Only if it's in the UK. Plenty of the wealthy already bugger off and more will if you raise tax rates.
Well, we can change the rules about expenditure. But if the very wealthy sniff a tax on what they save then it will disappear off-shore.
Taxing wealth is principled but history suggests it is easy for the wealthy to avoid. Surely a greener option is to tax consumption?
The only thing more boring than #thetraitors in The Traitors Uncloaked. Sooty Smith I was wrong. A programme with people talking about a programme about people talking about nothing.
The new right? So they admit all previous right was wrong?
I have to say, in an age of corporate bullshit and doublespeak, I find the honesty of this very refreshing.
They’ll never torture you with the Comfy Chair
When I read this my brain immediately thought it was about ICE agents...
