The kid is already 6th on his team in points, will probably be 5th by the end of the week. Most of the players he’s passed have 40 or 50 games played, everyone above him has at least 48. What a crazy little run since only like 5 players are actually younger than him, half are a year+ older.

As you said on the pod, some games he just goes off for 3-4 points. Haven’t watched yet but I won’t be surprised if one or two of those penalties involved him crushing some kid (who might be 2 years older). He’s so fun to watch

I’ve liked Neuchev so far. I’ve seen pretty consistently solid defensive play contrary to seeing comments about him being all offense no defense before coming here.

Ho-ly, what a game for Felix! He is such an incredibly smart player that if he can keep shooting like that might even develop into a top-6 NHLer. I’d love to see him kill penalties next year (but I still don’t know about Abbott’s comments earlier in the year about playing him at center).
