There's a good piece about it, and JB's TV spot, from a ago by @monkeypicks.bsky.social here if you want to know more monkey-picks.blogspot.com/2016/03/the-...
A poster for James Brown & The Famous Flames performing live for the first time in the UK at the Granada in Walthamstow in the far reaches of East London on this day in 1966. Support acts included Barbara Lewis, the Mike Cotton Sound, The Marionettes and compere Keith Fordyce.

I pitched a article using the very detailed account of the gig which Eddy Grant shared with me last year, but somehow I couldn't find anyone who wanted it

Was good when it went βon tourβ few years back.
βOne slightly disappointing example of that approach: βNot every visitor needs to read his graphic depictions of his college sex.β So those arenβt shown.β
Oh yeah, guttedβ¦ π Would obv like to see exhibition though.
Great stuff.

I know! That missing apostrophe!
Golly.
Blimey.
If you do anything today, take a few moments and see if you can hear the women's inner screams, then take another moment to imagine a world without women in it. #InternationalWomensDay
