December update V21.2.1 is now available from our repo github.com/MarcusWolsch... , the play store and F-droid seems to have built its version too.
It contains a workaround for the Android bug that affects per app language settings in Android 15.

V21.2.0 runs in to this issue issuetracker.google.com/issues/40664... on Android 15 and later that stops per app language selection from working.
We're working on a workaround github.com/MarcusWolsch... however no ETA currently.

We've released V21.2, as our 'traditional' end-of-year release.
There are some minor changes relative to the beta, most notably the addition of a warning if you are moving a way that has a majority of its nodes off screen.

Fixing a small notification bug when reversing a way with @vespucci_editor and taking the opportunity to add support for reversing conditional oneways.
It is some of weirdest code in the app with lots of hardwired stuff, for example

A further maintenance update of V21 21.0.5 is available on the playstore and our repo now.
Just as the 1st Beta of V21.1 is vespucci.io/help/en/21.1... It is mainly focused on updating the target Android version for googles end of August deadline and has few user visible changes.

The can has been kicked down the road.
Microsoft has updated our key to continue to work to some time next year. Thanks!
While this doesn't solve the underlying issue, it does give the #OpenStreetMap Foundations EWG the opportunity to do so in the next couple of months.
Unluckily, while the imagery will continue to be available for the web editor iD for a while, independent editor developers will not really have a choice other than to end access.
Sorry for the bad news.
At the end of this month Microsoft will be ending its Bing map services community.openstreetmap.org/t/discontinu... This has been a key bit of infrastructure #OpenStreetMap has relied on for nearly the last 15 years and was a significant boost to contributions back then.

swisstopo's WMS and WMTS have been experiencing an outage since mid morning today www.geo.admin.ch/de/wms-wmts-... with other words imagery layers (orthofotos and DEMs) from swisstopo are currently not working in #OpenStreetMap editors.
April maintenance release 21.0.1 is available now from the usual places.
Besides the usual updates and some minor fixes, this avoids a crash caused by a naming conflict with a library that caused editing dates in the opening hours modal to crash.

If during triage it is necessary to have the information we will explicitly ask you to send a crash dump. As we do not include any information from your #OpenStreetMap account in the reports, we have no way to get back to you in this with just a report.
Thank you.
Please do not use the manual crash dump trigger vespucci.io/help/en/Main... to report issues, always open one on our repo. You can do that with the 'Provide feedback...' function (pseudonymously if you don't have a github account).

Vespucci 21 is rolling out on googles playstore now, alternatively you can download it from the releases section of our repo (you can automate that with Obtanium).
Don't forget to upload any pending edits before updating!

In random things done this week we've migrated our documentation site vespucci.io to a slightly customised mkdocs material theme.
Background: the customisations for the previous theme stopped working and the material theme could potentially support a multilingual site.

Alternatively you can install from F-Droid and configure your own API keys, but that is a fairly advanced option.
Reminder: we do not recommend installing 3rd party builds, for example from F-Droid, as you will loose access to all imagery layers that require an API key and Mapillary.
If you don't want to use googles play store you can install the APK from github github.com/MarcusWolsch...
