Itβs tiring that we are increasingly stuck organizing our intellectual lives around arguing for the value of having an intellectual life
Went to nail salon - really tried to get a light pink number, something super spring and femme. Black. Black cat's eye. that's what I left with - the black just speaks to my soul π
I know people wonβt remember this bc thereβs so many dumpster fires. But somebody better be keeping a list.
Social science research stays catching Ls at a time when we need it most. π©

**Both forearms are already inked & I'm 46 and kinda done hearing her opinions on my body. Girl children of Boomers know what I mean π
Go Birds
My son (13) asked me if I knew what cortisol is today - a lovely and funny moment of teen kid's knowledge intersecting w/mom's expertise. Young teens are hard and wonderful - just learning something new every day :)

Dreaming of a future where (among many other things like handling human rights issues) science funding is restored. I am holding on to that hope.
