I am a born and raised west coast kid. I love Southern California and the desert. Palm Desert on a June day is just lovely to me.
But I’m currently (for 12 years now, dang) in Indiana, and I’d take the humidity if I had to, though I’d love the desert more.

IDK, what’s your humidity like? Because depending, I might prefer his weather to yours. Though it’s great either way.

I both love Charlie’s reaction and consideration and am concerned waiting will be a bad idea as the Weavers may not wait.

My mom, last year, got shingles, and had received the shingles vaccine previously. She did not have fun. Reportedly Shingles was much worse than the vaccine, but also her bout of Shingles was milder than many.

From what I understand, they do have different types of roofs in other countries. I used to watch cleaning videos of them on YouTube.
They last several multiples of years longer than ours, but also cost several multiples more when they do get replaced. And have regular maintenance required.

Got to the part about how they were connected and went, “oh no.” Got to the part about when they actually met and being invited over for coffee and went, “oh, shit!!”

Seems like a good reason for the courts to be expanded/given more resources, and for the Feds to be incentivized not to act in ways that swamps the court.

So, I know for me - and from context clues I think we’re of a similar age - they definitely taught those things. I learned them, and can follow them, and know when I’m breaking them. I can’t, however, name or explain them to anyone else or do things like sentence deconstruction anymore.

Well, in the name of Government Efficiency, we had to cut all those systems and fire all those people. What were they really *doing* anyway?

TBF, from media training I've spectated, a lot of it could do with learning from deposition training. It may be that I've only seen the mediocre kind, though.

I assume that because all the rest of my Peng books are on Smashwords, if I want this one there, I gotta wait until Tuesday. Oh well, I'll be patient.
Sorry for the Amazon chaos.

Would there happen to be a documented process for getting out of that AI product? I tried one time recently to use the online text processor from that place instead of the desktop version and couldn’t even figure out how to get to it or the other productivity tools.

Now, if we’re talking *best* Miyazaki films, I’d say it’s between Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, and Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, each for different reasons and I can’t pick a winner.

I’m with OP - my *favorite* is Howl’s Moving Castle.
Though if we’re talking wider Studio Ghibli oeuvre, not just Miyazaki, I’d say Howl’s is still my favorite, but When Marnie Was There is my current comfort watch.

Oh, I definitely agree. Their "principles" even in the best of circumstances are remarkably flexible.
Merely pointing out the reason they chose to give the public.

I’d also bet the farmers in the deep red rural areas didn’t like the idea of having to share a district with the city people.

I mean, it wouldn’t shock me if that was part of it.
The stated reason by Republican state senators who sided with the Dems to oppose the redistricting was basically a claim that “mid-decade redistricting isn’t actually solid conservative principles.” Who knows what was actually said in back rooms.

Indianapolis.
We literally just went through the whole “we want to gerrymander more” thing. I live in one of 2 blue districts in the state. They were going to take my district and divide it into four and parcel it out to other nearby red districts. Fortunately it failed in our state senate.

I still find it hilarious that Franklin Covey’s trademark cease & desist over a fictional book in a sci-fi future universe gave us one of the best pieces of made-real fictional product that I can hold in my hands.

I mean, the 2000s Focus Wagon my mom had that I drove in high school was excellent for loading up a ton of shit in something that drove and used gas like a sedan, so I’d love to see those come back, but the 70s ones? No thanks.

Huh, I’ve been stubbornly defaulting to British punctuation for years then despite being American, because there are too many situations where American style just doesn’t work for me. Like when I’m quoting something as part of a question, but the quoted material was not a question.

Screenshot of Weather app showing a current temp of 29 degrees, feels like 19 degrees, with a high of 31 degrees and a low of 15 degrees. There’s also a note about a Winter Weather Advisory.
