Definitely, though I also trained myself to carefully enunciate things like scientific names at an early age so my accent may be a bit off from the norm; I pronounce it SACK-ruh-MEN-toe.

I'm a California native AND have lived in Sacramento for 20 years, and I pronounce the T. How else is one supposed to say it?

If GHS sold 10k copies we would be able to sustain work on it for a year.

If it sold 20k copies we would be able to sustain work on it for both of us for a year.

If we sold a million copies, we'd hire ~6 people and make another game.

I'm heading into an interview shortly and I'm already dreading those inevitable questions.

The anti-racist with the Nazi tattoo? Did someone replace your brains with rat droppings while you were asleep or something?

Ghost Hunter Simulator was not one of them.

But you can help that by buying our game. @prime8.games

Promotional job interview on Wednesday. I'm not anxious, why would you think that?

It has been [zero] days since the last time I sent a tray of tiny insects destined for point-mounting flying across the room because I'm too damn clumsy.

It's been $4-5 per gallon here for many many months. I suspect we'll hit $7 soon.

We had to remove the back door FRAME to get our living room couch into the house. The kitchen remodel made it so it can't go back out that way no matter what, so we'll have to saw it into pieces if we ever replace it.

I SERIOUSLY need a paying side hustle... Anyone need someone to collect insects for them, take mediocre photos of said insects, or occasionally draw insects?

Macro photograph, in top view, of two insects standing on a cluster of small, 4-petalled white flowers. Both insects have a red head and thorax and black at their back ends. The beetle on the right is slightly broader, and has a narrow white line separating the red and black parts of its body, as to suggest a narrow ant waist.

Model and mimic: a clever longhorn beetle (Euderces reichei, at right) tries its best to look like a local carpenter ant, Campontous decipiens, as they both feed on a spring dogwood flower. Brackenridge Field Laboratory, Texas.

Side view of a small point-mounted insect specimen. It's a chunky little insect with spotted wings.

Side view of a point-mounted parasitoid wasp specimen. It's mostly black, with yellow areas on the head and thorax and orange legs.

Did a VERY quick sampling of the backyard today and came up with two new species: a barklouse (Ectopsocus californicus) and an ichneumonid parasitoid (Orthocentrus sp). That brings my backyard insect species count up to 426! #Entomology #Bugsky
