I haven't liked to talk about politics on this account. I wanted to have a fun spot for Vikings fans, like me.
Many have been scared of backlash, losing friends or followers... but I am saying clearly:
1 am NOT okay with reckless violence condoned by the Trump Aministration. I am NOT okay with people being murdered in own own communities.
1am NOT okay with people being taken from their homes and families being ripped apart. lam NOT okay with people being denied due process.

I want to say this too: this victory was won because we had observers EVERYWHERE. ICE and CBP couldn't set foot in our city without cameras rolling. Much of the nation seemed determined to ignore our plight for weeks, but the avalanche of documentation we produced dragged the nation to us.

There's a beautiful speech Cory Doctorow gave at 39C3 a few weeks ago about anti-circumvention law being a fundamental part of the US trade agreements around the world and that given the orange menace has violated all those agreements, the restrictions US placed should be void as well.

my Blackest opinion is that the presumption of conflict between "America has a long and deeply rooted history of violence" and "we can and should fight against today's version of that, as did those who came before us" is less a philosophical debate about how to treat the past and more a skill issue

🚨HOLY CRAP. An ICE whistleblower just revealed a secret memo authorizing ICE officers to break into homes without a judicial warrant, which DHS's own legal training materials say is unconstitutional!
ICE then hid the memo from the public, passing it along by word of mouth and private conversation.

According to DHS, about 3,000 ICE and federal agents are operating in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. THREE THOUSAND! The entire Minneapolis Police Department only has about 580 officers. This is outrageous and unnecessary.
Our tax dollars are funding this abuse, so it’s happening in our name.
