If they unlock the mystery gift stuff the US never got then maybe I’ll see it as worth it. Home support is nice but unlike the GB/C Pokémon games, these already can connect to Home, even if it is a chore

Not gonna say anyone’s wrong for being excited for FireRed/LeafGreen regardless of price but it would have been such an easy PR win for Nintendo to release these free to NSO members. I suppose Pokémon Company probably has a say in that though
Maybe it's best I wait until tomorrow if this was supposed to be a secret but what's with the widescreen gameplay at the start of the trailer IGN uploaded? It's not mentioned anywhere that there's a widescreen version or a remake included, all 5 versions highlighted in the trailer weren't widescreen
Despite the perfect matchup, Cold by Static-X does not appear on their debut album Wisconsin Death Trip
It was -33°F this morning with the windchill I can’t stand the winter anymore
I turned off Threads notifications completely because there was no way to turn certain ones off. I checked the app yesterday and saw it’s been sending me recommendations that you can’t turn off *every single day* that were all “this person died” “Trump did this” “AI did that”
It wants you miserable
Also, if you’re overwhelmed in even a remotely similar way as me, take the time to curate your notifications. I barely get any non-DM notifications anymore, if an app/site is worth your time and you enjoy using it, you won’t need reminders to come back
One of my goals for 2026 is not necessarily to use the internet or social media less, but to take more control over what it’s spewing at me. If “see less” is the only option, I’ll be using that website less instead
I’m so tired of getting my fun and my news in the same place and not having a choice on the matter other than “see less”.
Despite it not even being 2 months old, I think about this post a lot. The sentiment in the replies is focused on Homestar Runner but I’m tired of the info overload in general
This particular video has a part where I jokingly added a "foot cam" since I was using the Wii Fit board. I stream for fun and not to chase fame or money, but maybe this is a sign that foot modeling is my calling. Or people are just weird
I checked what my most viewed stream VODs are out of curiosity. I don't have a big audience, my entire channel has about 4000 total views, but one video in particular strangely makes up more than 25% of that total while the rest rarely hit 10 views
I prefer trophies as collectibles but I don’t even like spirits even as a challenge mode. I like how simple Melee’s Event mode is, just a unique premise, sometimes lore accurate. They felt more in-universe because they focused on playable characters, not stuff like Chao except they’re tiny Squirtles
Are the OG Wiggles technically a boy band?
I'm nearing 40 days worth of music with my mostly CD ripped collection. There's plenty of duplicates in there but it's still a lot. I reset my play counts last December so I was able to make my own "wrapped" this year

As the biggest Lag-head Fort Minor fan, I officially give you a pass for reusing Twitter content a day later
I always miss out on the #SpotifyWrapped, #AppleMusicReplay, and now YouTube's recap because I still buy physical media and don't have any streaming services, so I made my own "wrap-up" using my 2025 iTunes stats
Not to focus on Adventure 2 too much but it was the first time Green Hill returned in a mainline game since the 1991 original, 10 years.
It has now been in nearly every piece of Sonic media since 2011, typically reusing the Generations or Sonic 1 assets. Please just move on or put a twist on it
It’s not absolutely awful and I knew some of these aspects going in like Modern Sonic and Green Hill. I still had fun with it but for paid DLC with only 3 levels, it’s a bit underwhelming
What makes things worse is it’s not even Classic Sonic nostalgia, its boost reminiscent and full of automation that discourages exploration and backtracking that clashes with the expected World 2 controls.
Nostalgia bait me with City Escape, let Pac-Man fight G.U.N. I’m so bored of Green Hill man
The Sonic DLC for the Pac-Man World 2 remake is kinda meh. It’s a bit of a bummer that a game with such a similar moveset as Adventure 2 Sonic (the OG games even released less than a year apart) is built upon Generations Green Hill nostalgia for the 100th time since 2010, even down to a certain boss
It wasn’t fantastic, but when it came out I was obsessed with my iPod and played the shit out of it anyway. As its original concept, a 2010 phone game, it succeeded for me. That said, despite Episode II improving a lot, 2 years was too long and the spectacle wore off for me
I commissioned @laurabeltran2001.bsky.social to do a 3D model for my Twitch/Discord bot, a weird McNugget Buddy OC named "Emcee Nuggie", to turn her into a Bonzai Buddy desktop pet for streams.
It turned out fantastic, if you're looking for 90s CGI-style graphics, they do a great job
It’s “free” (with the higher tier subscription) so it’s not awful but it is likely going to lack the enhancements All Stars gave it.
Mario 64 didn’t have much new for All Stars so not much is lost via NSO, which is bizarre considering the fan recompilations, could have given us widescreen at least
I don’t like the idea that Sunshine is lost to time again now, wish they had just rereleased 3D All Stars with Galaxy 2 “DLC”. If they’re gonna sell Galaxy 1 and 2 separately, sell Sunshine separately too
I loved the concept of amiibo, having figures of every character like in Melee seemed so cool but I dreaded the idea of getting every one at $12-13. When they went up in price I dealt with it because I just wanted to finish the collection. I will not spend $30-40 per amiibo, give me Merth at $13
Even Knuckles essentially the same post-Adventure. Frontiers made it seem he never leaves Angel Island bouncer duty but he was around all the time without significant explanation.
I guess Knuckles had several explorations of his backstory, his first game didn’t defeat his purpose of existence
If you pirate Pokémon Black because it’s $200, I understand but still own it.
If you pirate Pokémon Box because it’s $2000, I do too.
If you pirate Pokémon Z-A because “Nintendo is greedy”, whatever, I don’t agree but I don’t care.
If you pirate a small artist’s $10 personal project, fuck off
If you make art and sell it, what difference does it make where the art goes? If I made a song and sold it on iTunes vs. thinking “this would be cool in a Sonic game”, who cares if I charged a few bucks for a mod?
It’s telling that a lot of people just want free stuff, it’s not about availability
There’s Twitter drama about ethics in charging for Smash Bros. Melee mods and don’t understand how general consensus is that it’s bad in any context.
Most people emulate the game for free, why care about their IP now? If the worry is Nintendo might overstep and crackdown on mods then blame Nintendo
Before I even fully scrolled it into view the still shot of the background kids screamed AI, seeing the movement and hearing the audio was blatantly obvious, it’s scary how some people are falling for AI when it’s not even at its best
