I found this aspect of your review funny, because it's the same script as 1.25. I think only two are shortened compared to 1.0, that's it. It's really a presentation problem with the original imo.

Which scenes are cut? as far as I'm aware it's the dream sequences.
They definitely are "script changes" but I think it's greatly overstated. People played the 1.5 demo and said they made the monologues were shorter, even though they are the exact same as 1.0.
I wouldn't say the script is much different between 1.0 and 1.25. I think there are 5 or so cut sentences, that's about it. 1.5 uses the same script as 1.25 but there are extra scenes.

People who hated it still hate it. I just think its found a small audience now. The 1.5 patch increased the audience by just being a better game lol...
Which hints are those? I don't really get that impression, and in terms of recent "hints" about it (2025), it's directly stated to simply see an aspect of the story in a different way.
