Now, I’m not saying there’s corruption but I AM saying the league sure isn’t doing anything to make fans and observers feel confident there isn’t.
Independent audits. Public ref grades. Clear consequences. That’s not unreasonable.
Once the NFL welcomed Draft Kings, Fanduel, and legalized gambling into the mix, the league needed to add more transparency and accountability into its own operations and into NFL Officiating. It didn’t.

We pour so much time and energy and attention into all this only to have incompetent, uncaring officials, and essentially the league itself, arbitrarily decide how and when and what rules are applied. I’m so sick over this. What a farce.
