Rewatched Summer Wars after a few years since my first watch. I forgot what a brilliantly charming movie this is. Outstanding visuals from Studio Bones, heartwarming tale of love and family, and world-ending tension makes this a certified watch in my book.

Here's something to share
This was the original intro I made before I finished the Lethal Company animation. I ended up making a quicker, simpler version. The background on this was to be changed depending on the animation. The music used is from an old edgy office supply ad that has been delisted.

With new legacy of Kain stuff being announced just wanted to share some of my fav pieces I’ve made over the years

Panel one: Darumaaku comes into the Kirby’s restaurant entrance with ominous dark energy while Ed looks oblivious at them. Onomatopoeia: da duuuuuuh! Panel two: Daru points at Ed requesting a battle. Daru: I heard that I could get serve a brawl here? Onomatopoeia:bam Panel three: a full body image of Ed doing a salute with two fingers. Ed: I dunno about a brawl but I know about brunch! What can I get you suge? Panel four: Darumaaku holds their hand up to the sky like a theatre actor proclaiming their journey has led them to find a worthy fight. Putting a foot on a table with a disgruntled cat man eating a burger looking at them. Daru: I hunger for a battle with the warrior known as Marcus! We shall clash at once! Cat customer: get off my table, big ass boots… Panel five: off screen a voice calls for Daru’s attention, which pulls both of their eyes around to the back of their head.

Panel one: Kiara my anthropomorphic donkey woman dressed as stone cold Steve Austin with her hand over her bicep proclaiming their journey request to battle Darumaaku. Kiara:you coming in here, looking to fight Dorky, when you can get your candy ass stone cold stunner right now! Cause Kiki cold said so! Panel two: Daru breaks the fourth wall by pushing the word bubble out of their face with a devilish grin. Panel three: Daru rushes towards Kiara , ready to bout. Daru:Try it ass!! Panel four: Kiara is midway performing a stone cold stunner on Daru while they look at her with a blush expression. Marcus looks up in the background thinking how he prefers Booker T. Bye bye!!
