No matter how good I get at DevOps, it's always a new nightmare when things start to break.
Neat.
Building software means falling in love with the process of building something and then _rebuilding_ it.
Once that realization hits, it becomes very meditative π§

Console.app for MacOS
Go ahead, open it up and try to figure out how to narrow down logs to your favorite app.
For example: Did you know MacOSβs Console.app can show you Live Logs from an IOS device plugged in via USB? The only catch is because it is on the OS made by the best software designers in the world, it is an absolute inscrutable nightmare to use.
Spent nearly all of yesterday trying to debug an expo app that silently froze on its splash screen in production.

One of my tasks this week: become an expert on how Google Ads revenue reporting should work, end to end.
I've always felt like it's a specialist domain -- but it's time to learn.
Anyone have any recs for people to follow? Particularly experts in local search ads for service businesses.
Hah, I feel you - I'm sure my eyes will betray me one day... but for now I favor small and compact. 14" is just right for me. It's not too bad for traveling (I'd love a lighter device, personally), and at my desk I plug into 2x 27" displays and close the laptop screen anyway.
Hi Redowan! I am a big fan of Go... but I've never built a go project from scratch. I did help maintain a Go library for a bit - super fun learning experience.
Love to see it! Nice to meet you Robin!
