*supposedly* this should work via distrobox as well but i couldn't get my ipod to passthru to the container after 10 mins of debugging so i said fuck it and went for rpm-ostree instead

ok incase someone sees this and is wondering:
install libgpod and a supported music client of choice via rpm-ostree (i used rhythmbox bc my music library is on a samba share)
should work for copying songs over

its an ipod video so there is no wifi to speak of here
