I hope we humans find bigger problems to solve now that AI made our job much easier
I hope we humans find bigger problems to solve now that AI made our job much easier
I don't think it is going to happen ever, I was skeptic for the longest period but it seems to have improved a lot
5 stages of AI acceptance
1. Denial: Itβs Just fancy Autocomplete
2. Anger: Itβs Flooding the World with Garbage Code
3. Bargaining: Iβll use It for Boilerplate, But Never Logic
4. Depression: Am I Just a Prompt Engineer Now?
5. Acceptance: AI is good and jobs are at stake
We evaluated a bunch of options but consolidated on GitHub copilot. Copilot is closing the gap with others and we already have GitHub as a vendor.

What's with the new trend of releasing something stable but not marking latest?
I just wish @prisma.io worked with Cloudflare workers. Prisma has great API, not a big fan of drizzle schema API specially for relations.
. @svelte.dev @cloudflare.social pages, d1 and @drizzle.team is GOAT stack
True workers should not strive for node compatibility but the ecosystem should build for multiple JS runtimes. Hono, Drizzle and sveltekit are doing a great job at supporting multiple runtimes.
Hopefully wintercg.org will make it easier to build tools that work everywhere.
Cloudflare has all the right pieces workers, kv, relation database, S3 compatible storage. The only problem is a lot of node packages(like prisma) do not work.
Trying svelte 5 for one of my side projects. They seem to have nailed the API. Such a pleasure to work with. Time for open source to start building JS packages instead of React ones.
Happy new year everyone!
This year I plan to buy even more domains and most likely won't use any of those.
Has any framework truly died in the last 10 years? I see most have managed their marketshare.
Not to argue that React hasn't won.
A two panel comic book style drawing. The first panel is a console with two red buttons labelled - βadmit to yourself your dream is deadβ and βpay $12β. A white gloved hand is hovering betwixt the two options. The second panel is a white man, holding a cloth to their forehead. They are sweating and look anxious. There is text that reads βdomain renewalβ
happy βIβm gonna start a side projectβ holidays
So the copilot is free now? Did i miss the announcement

In India atleast even if there are laws, it's very rare that someone would follow. Indian court cases go for decades.
Looks like this story was just for PR though www.business-standard.com/companies/ne...
Yeah pretty much. Imagine being stressed as a reason to get laid off.
This mail looks like something The onion would write.
This is also very normalised behaviour in non mainstream Indian companies. Indian labour laws need major reforms.
That's a bummer
@danabra.mov is there any exception to the rule?

I almost never used to get spam messages in my Gmail inbox. Gmail seems to be getting worse with time. I am convinced spammers are getting better at AI than Google.
How do I remove myself from starter packs?
