I did exactly this after finding myself with an addiction to it. i use the website on my phone, and have an adblocker with a custom rule to remove the reels button from the toolbar. also, the website version is so bad that it disincentivises spending time on it anyway
does this include WhatsApp? I removed Facebook a while ago with no issue but I know too many whatsapp-only people to remove that
followed by blade runner 2049. the brief was "make a film using just white and orange" and it looks spectacular
Tonight's film is The Last Duel. Delightfully well put together, beautifully traumatic.
If we are all living in a simulation, it's one designed to torture us with moments of hope.
because it's underpowered for new games, or because windows 10 is EoL? (if the latter... at the risk of being one of those people, valve made linux (almost) painless for games, i've not looked back for 2 years)
who must we bribe to get log per mile pricing
unless you have 20 minutes' foresight, in which case you can sometimes use advanced fares, when a single becomes half the price of the return, (but only so long as you know the rough time you're heading back will be off peak, unless you have a railcard and it's not July or August etc)
just watched a play through of Until Then, I cried so much, possibility the most real game ever made
I think it's easy to see engineering as just generating code, especially if you're a nontechnical CEO or similar, and to be persuaded that a text generator could serve the same purpose. I do way more than output code, it's a surprisingly small part of the job.
god I love garlic
Dead-end street sign for Squirrels Jump
Dead-end street sign for Squirrels Chase
Did you know that in Cheshire we have some brill Squirrel-themed streets?
a passenger train in Stockport station being pulled by a DB freight engine
today's freight is: welsh people. (it was loud and slow, and going to Cardiff)
Did the long walk to Big Tesco through the rain. The Macc road being closed makes this super easy (albeit still a 7 hour round trip).
"As his post goes on, his language gets older. 100 years older with each jump. The spelling changes. The grammar changes. Words you know are replaced by unfamiliar words" Fascinating. So how far back in time can YOU go?
still unsure what one does in London on an evening, so I'm off for my 3rd Very Long Walk for a sandwich tea. I shall be so thin by the end of this week.
I'm not especially opposed to driverless cabs, but I'm fucked if I'm giving up my ancestral British right to cross the road anywhere if it's safe for me to do so. "Jaywalking" isn't a thing or a crime here, techbros, so your magic cars will have to learn to deal with that.
Photo of rolling grassy farmland taken from cock knoll overlooking a ridge of trees (taxal ridge) with a snow-covered Combs Edge in the distance
Photo of Disley housing estate behind trees, with Chinley Churn in the middle ground and a snow-covered peak of Kinder in the background
interior photo of St Mary's church in Disley. wide angle, showing the deep blue roof pattern and the central naive with two later aisle extensions on either side
Finally a sunny day! Would he a crime not to go hiking. Found a church that had a dubious walking tour.
I liked where they said it would cost £130Bn. That means someone had to seriously consider it, design two Irish sea crossings, account for the runaway future costs caused by treasury shorttermism, and decide "yes a single number can represent that"
That was the other option for today! I was wondering if it was worth a trip to AlpKit in Hathersage before they closed (I heard they were going into administration at end of January), but it looks like they found a buyer, so less time pressure
Beautiful. Also enjoying the flex of having 21 TiB of disks :P
That's incredible, nicely done!

great fun, I love it
Burnham and any other northern Labour politician needs to bring the government down over this.
It is absolutely disgusting that yet again we're faced with another 5 years of cuts to our infrastructure.
Just fucking build it and invest in our communities. You want growth? That's how you get it.
finding the motivation for anything when it's so dark after work is hard. would love to go running or swimming etc but sleep feels so much more appropriate
Pizza has vegetables, it's absolutely healthy

Little run around the pike.
Desperately out of shape.
Christmas has defeated me.
I went to see it, I agree completely. He's done well to create a completely irredeemably unlikable character. I noticed in the second half how much his face had been on screen, it was almost constant, there were maybe 60 seconds in the whole film that he wasn't in...
omg. this and everything that's gone into it are a work of art. (plus "and an all-round yapper" made me cackle, you paint him sassy here)
