The Good Place, where a good place committee member proposes conceding everything to make Christian nationalists happy.

I know a sequel to Untitled Goose Game is unlikely and that online play seems absurd, but hear me out @panic.com.
Goose capture the bell.
Two flocks of geese, red bow and blue bow, defend their bell while trying to steal their opponents.
(Smiles, nods, and waggles eyes.)
βSo what exactly drove John to become an insane Batman-esque super villain?β
What I donβt understand is why they even bother given the ubiquity of giant TVs and how common non-16:9 content is with modern programming. Hereβs what I wrote when complaining about latter Columbo being cropped.

Not the Times and Iβm pretty sure @nytpitchbot.bsky.social has more than enough headlines at the moment, butβ¦
Exactly what I wrote earlier today;
βBetween Iran, US, and Israel propaganda, I think there is going to have to be a whole lot of "take note and wait" with much of the reporting going forward.β

I was fortunate that this came out while I was working on my MacMoji sticker pack. Imagine the feeling upon seeing this guy when turning on your SE.
I don't live close to my parents, but I can vouch for this. The disconnect with the realities of working adults is like payback plus interest for when I was still in college.
Motion to replace "hello world" with "sorry world" as the de facto initial output of a given program.
I had this notion a while ago, but having thought about it some more, I think this is backwards. Football is fundamentally about maximally advancing the ball into your opponents territory. Being able to score more by minimally advancing is antithetical to the game.

Runners up.
Ocarina of Time - Basically defined how to do a third person adventure game in 3D.
Majora's Mask - Love the vibes. Love the time loop.
Four Swords - Just a really fun co-op game.
Which brings me to⦠Breath of the Wild - This is probably the basic choice, but no one thought Nintendo was going to do open world Zelda as well as they did on their first try. This is a damn near perfect game and it's perfectly dialed in visually to boot, not cartoon-y while still looking painted.
Wind Waker - It was a bold move walking back the "Ocarina with more polygons" SpaceWorld demo, but it was the right decision. Wind Waker is not only beautiful for its era, I also consider it the precursor to Breath of the Wild.
Link's Awakening - My first Zelda. Being on the original Gameboy, it could have been a weird Zelda-lite experience. (I'm looking at you Super Mario Land!) Instead, we got gameplay on par with Link to the Past.
Every time you point out that the people advancing the lies about trans kids are the same people who enabled the systematic sexual abuse of children, they just straight up ignore you or change the subject.
A show runner being told not to use the word βfascismβ when describing their show about fascism is maybe the best illustration of our hangup around using that label. I recently wrote about why I think we need to get over this particular hangup.

the video game industry is a mess
The state of YouTube advertising makes me want to quit Google rather than give them money.
A word that I have heard used with SQL variants is "dialect", which I prefer over "flavor". That said, this isn't a strongly held opinion, especially since I believe "flavor" is fairly ubiquitous when it comes to Markdown.
"There is nothing Christian about Christian Nationalism. It is the worship of power in the name of Christ."
For years I have been saying that the religious right is not as much a "death cult" as it is a "power cult." Talarico gets it.

Who would've thunk that reducing the burden on parenting through meaningful structural change might make people more willing to become parents. Next you'll say we should also reduce healthcare costs.
There are really a seemingly endless number of YouTube accounts that exist to stroke my nostalgia.
U.S. mainstream media.

I donβt care much for the Star Wars prequels, but my kid threw a hat on a battle droid and now I am deeply interested in their story.
This is what I am talking about when I wrote that the rich are funding panics. They are spending billions to get their people elected. It's naive to think that sort of spending is somehow limited to campaign ads.
