There's so much I liked about the server slam. I loved the tension from skulking around, managing my inventory, balancing weapons, ammo, loot, etc.

Bungie knows how to make high-stakes PvE encounters! Look at the Nightfall and Grandmaster missions in Destiny! They've been pretty consistently good at making multiple versions of the same encounters with harder modifiers for better rewards.
