Eddie being a yapper in the sense that he can’t do uncomfortable silence but also is so out of practice at it because he spends all his time with mr. “talks constantly at all times about anything just because” so he hasn’t really had to sit in uncomfortable silence for 7 years is very good.

Eddie wasn't even in the last episode, but Buck mentioned his name 15 times and a few other characters mentioned him a handful of times as well, so clearly they've all been missing him. I wanted to ask you about one moment in particular: How did you personally react to the suggestion that Buck's ex-boyfriend Tommy thought he was in competition with Eddie for Buck's attention? Guzman: | laughed. I was like, man, Tommy's insecure, buddy. [Laughs.] Come on, buddy! You've got the guy! He's right in front of you! He's giving you his heart. He's giving you his mind. He's giving you his whole ... everything. But they say — what is it? — comparison is the thief of joy. He has joy right in front of him, and he's not able to access it. So, yeah, it was also endearing to have things be like, "Oh, well, he's made [such] an impact on everyone's life in L.A., whether it be Bobby or Buck or anybody, that they keep on referencing him." And poor Ravi [Anirudh Pisharody]! He's getting called Eddie plenty of times. So yeah, it was like a funny-ish thing, if you're not Ravi or Tommy, and I enjoyed it.
