Superman warning Illinois residents about candidates who are getting money & support from DraftKings
how it feels taking public transit rn
Reject Corporate PAC-Funded State Representative Candidate Adam Braun We strongly condemn the entrance of large corporate PACs into the 13th State Representative race in support of Adam Braun. To date, Meta (Big Tech) and DraftKings (Gambling) have spent $333,928.73 alone to support Adam's campaign. The donations create serious concerns about whose interests will come first and could create a dangerous precedent for how local elections are decided if not stopped now. These concerns are further amplified by Adam having lobbied for Draftkings for 6 years and his abrupt refusal to participate in a candidate forum to answer questions from the community on March 1. We urge voters to reject Adam Braun in the upcoming March 17th Democratic Primary Instead we recommend voters support James O'Brien. James is an experienced public servant, has the broad coalition of supporters needed to beat the special interests in this race, and takes $0 in corporate PAC money. We can trust James to work on behalf of our community, are excited about his candidacy, and urge voters to support him in this critical election. 40th Ward Democrats 47th Ward Democrats 48th Ward Democrats Indivisible Lincoln Square Better Streets Chicago Action Fund Chicago Growth Project
Indivisible Lincoln Square is proud to stand in solidarity with @bscactionfund.org @chicagogrowthproj.bsky.social as well as Chicagoβs 40th, 47th, & 48th Ward Dems to condemn the intrusion of Big Tech and Gambling lobbies in our local elections.
This is why we support @jamesforillinois.bsky.social.
Our region is preparing for one of the most significant transit overhauls in decades. Now we need implementation.
Iβm proud that I've earned the endorsement of @bscactionfund.org. Hereβs how Iβll make the reforms we need to strengthen public transit: www.bscactionfund.org/nick-uniejew...

Shantel Franklin is running to bring a new generation of leadership as the next State Representative of the 8th District.
In a district that stretches from Garfield Park to La Grange, Shantel recognizes the vast array of transportation choices needed to serve a district as disparate as hers.

One of the best parts about living in a world-class city like Chicago is being able to do so car-free, but there is still much work to do to improve our infrastructure and public transit system. π π² π

Drake Warren is running to bring fresh and accountable leadership as the next Cook County Commissioner of the 10th District.
As a car-free renter in the district, he understands the intersection of transportation and the affordability agenda, and is committed to dedicating full-time to the role.
This past week we learned Meta and DraftKings (Adam Braunβs former lobbying client) have poured in more than $100k in the race to support Adam.
James' lit he's handing out at canvassing sessions and events with the red line track in the background.
Ran into transit champ and @bscactionfund.org endorsed candidate @jamesforillinois.bsky.social handing out lit this morning!
Iβve been a public servant my whole career and fought against big money interests time and time again.
This campaign is no different.
Donβt let Adam Braun and his endless advertisements fool you.
