Hey obviously mind scope creep and all to your ability, but a marketplace hub for TTRPGs could also have blog post feature, and similar global articles hub feed where users could link to games on-site they're reviewing or talking about in an article. It would be THE place for creators and reviewers.
Stop thinking of other creators as competition. They're your party members. When one of you levels up, the whole group gets stronger. When one gets opportunities, everyone benefits from the raised profile of TTRPGs.
E) Different games are made for and effectively produce different experiences. I pick games based on the stories they were designed to tell.

More and more people reporting today that Stripe - the payment processor that Itch said were putting the most pressure on them - now have staff actively confirming that yes, they are censoring LGBT content, adult or otherwise. That this is official company policy.
This seems kinda significant.

Still not sure which one, but they are committing all their profits from it to a trans charity.
They got a lot of well-deserved pushback from it, but they made a statement this week that (I'd guess they can't back out of the contract or production costs but) they'll be donating all profits to LGBTQIA+ charity.
Obviously not perfect but a respectable voluntary backpedal at their expense.

Hugely agree. My favorite projects I've done have always been art, poetry, literature as well as games that say something or have a point. Things made for the sake of Content are cringe nothings.
