I googled it, but I can’t bring myself to listen, lol; maybe when the sun comes up I’ll feel braver.
The wind is making noises in my apartment that sound like a human voice moaning; it’s seriously creeping me out this Friday the thirteenth.🫣
😳
Awooooooo!
Okay, I knew I liked Brandi Carlile, but after watching that livestream I think I love her? I’m obsessed. What a life-giving show.❤️
The only Spanish I know I learned from Sesame Street and Selena, but my interpretation of that halftime show was love for Puerto Rico and just… lots and lots of joy. Loved it so, so much!!❤️❤️❤️
Wow, my first first Wednesday of the month on the MSP feed; I never knew there could be so many “awooo” posts, lol.😆
“Civics lesson to the government…”😳🔥👏🏻👏🏻
So jealous of those who got to be there, but I'm seeing some great videos from the concert floating around social media already.
I don't really go to concerts anymore (too much sensory overload for my autistic brain), but I gotta admit it would have been freaking AMAZING to see Tom Morello *and* Bruce Springsteen at First Ave.
Sounds just like my mom who had dementia: “I don’t have… what’s it called again?”

Also, shout out to my autistic sensory issues with noise because I’m aware of every single unusual noise in and around this apartment building. First time in my life this feels like a valuable trait.
I really feel like me being a Nosy Nellie for the past couple years is paying off rn because I recognize pretty much every vehicle in my apartment parking lot and can immediately tell when a vehicle shows up that doesn’t belong there.
Wild how my brain had just completely forgotten all of that until this weekend. And now it feels like I’m remembering someone else’s memories, which, in a way, I guess I am, because I am definitely not that person anymore.
I had totally forgotten that Cities Church (where the protest happened on Sunday) was a Bethlehem Baptist (i.e. John Piper) church plant. That explains why I was, at one point, very seriously considering attending Cities Church (as a longtime BBC attendee).
"Police officers who use their sidearm in the exercise of these duties will enjoy my support, irrespective of the outcome of the use of force. Officers who fail to make use of their weapon out of a false reticence, should expect disciplinary action.”

Around 300 people at the Roseville City Council meeting tonight. Residents have been sharing public comment about their experiences with ICE and fear in the community in Roseville for almost three hours and counting.

This wasn’t an easy one to record: on the murder of Renee Nicole Good, Gestapo comparisons, and the gendered dimensions of both the murder and the right’s defense of it podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/i...
I generally agree, but not sure this propaganda is aimed at everyday Americans who saw the footage. It’s aimed at the refs. They want false neutrality from institutions of civil society, they want both-sidesing from the media, they want chiding of whatever protestors do in response to this. (1/2)
I’m the opposite. Had to choke down dinner once I finally remembered to eat.😕
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey:
“I have a message for ICE:
To ICE, get the fuck out of Minneapolis! We do not want you here.”
I’m not sure giving guns to undertrained people who responded to ads designed to attract xenophobic sociopaths is working out great
I thought there would be too much light pollution by me, but I WAS WRONG!

The sun decided to make a very pretty appearance at the last possible moment today.
About the same response on Facebook.😐
Frey: And don't just say, this is about thoughts and prayers right now. These kids were literally praying. It was the first week of school. They were in a church.
Okay, the joy of being in a crowd of Cubs fans chanting “PCA” is pretty great. #Cubs
