I know I’m late to the party on this, but I finally read The Last Few Miles of Road by @ericbeetner.bsky.social and I loved it. A really well-crafted story with a fresh plot and characters that stick with you. It’s been a while since I’ve read a book that was this much fun and had this much heart.
Lots of people out there making fun of the Rapture crowd, but just think of how much the world would improve overnight if all those fools just vanished?
