Thanks! And sorry I am a bit slow to reply: I am pretty busy with stuff before I leave. I will try to keep an eye open, though. You can also catch me on Telegram, same name as here.
That's doubly true since I'm not really sure where I'm going to put the enclosure. I've already got one sitting on a temporary table in the living room, which I need to rearrange slightly.
It is doable, but unfortunately I'm about to leave town for about a week. If it has to get moved right now, I don't really want to set something up and then immediately leave. If it's something that you can wait a little more than a week for, though, I can certainly handle that.
I might be. I've got four snakes now, and we'll need to think about where I would house an additional one, but it may be possible.
There are a lot of bones in that head. It was actually rather fun to rig up. :)
Each of the lower "lips" has 5 bones, plus a master one for the entire jaw. The upper jaw is two bones (apart from the head itself) with 4 more for the "lips." Then, of course, a lot for the tongue.
Every now and then, some weird thing lodges itself in my mind, like this guy who I sculpted and set up a few weeks ago. For #JustFoodChallenge, I did a 1-day anim of him. It's a little robotic and jumpy, but not bad for 1 day work. I'm going to do something cleaner and more complete of him soon!
Thanks! The render box was chugging along all night on another one, too. Assuming I didn't need to do any cleanup and re rendering, it'll be out today. Have another longer one in mind as well
(And if you hadn't figured out that little side of me... Uh. Surprise! :) Not really sure it would be that much of a surprise, all in all, though.)
So, there is a (maybe small?) art challenge, for all sorts of art, including renders, called #JustFoodChallenge. Key thing is, what the food IS in the challenge. I'll post an animation, which should make it pretty clear. *evil grin*
Just finished a speed project in 3 days for the @vrchat.com Spookality contest! He's a headless horse-man, aka a beheaded centaur. Don't worry, though, he found a spare horse head lying around he can rest on his shoulders. vrchat.com/home/avatar/...
Wish you the best this coming week! One of these years I'll make it. :)
Bug eyed glabrezu looking around a corner, protecting a human
Oops! Meant to include this one of the bug-eyed glabrezu as well. See, he is nice!
Headshot of a glabrezu with lots of compound eyes
Quarter headshot of a glabrezu with compound insect eyes
Glabrezu talking to a human
Glabrezu walking with a human
I have been playing around with my Glabrezu model. I might have gone too far.
I think 13 eyes might be the right number, though!
Me, stretched out, Brazilian Rainbow Boa wrapped around my legs
No cheating. Post the last pic of your pet.
I guess I can never get up, alternate version.
"Creature" is such a good term.
It's gender neutral, it rejects humanity, it implies danger or anomaly, and it's valid for any species.
Shoutouts to all my creature friends
I'm just considering them as "year of the snake" fireworks. That works for me! :)====<
Ophidian on a rooftop watching fireworks.
Not everyone celebrates our 4th of July holiday, for good reason. But everyone SHOULD celebrate Year of the Snake, and the 4th is a good excuse for watching sky explosions. :)
When it was made, I had the choice between higher quality appearance and longer life. I went with appearance. That's all custom fur, and the better appearance meant tighter seams, which eventually pulled out.
It exists, but not currently in a wearable state. There's a chance it might be back wearable at some point, but it needs a lot of work.
I think this on @furality.org friends page might mean it is actually over.
:(
I don't want it to be. It was such, such a great weekend. It is going to feel so weird tomorrow morning, not getting up and immediately looking for an instance of something to join to hang out with friends.
Fireworks are by @starport55.bsky.social, extra FX by @windyote.bsky.social, music by @hiyu.bsky.social and @ashtalon.bsky.social , with assistance from the entire Furality Creative Team. <3
They do SUCH an amazing job. They really do set the standard for fireworks shows in @vrchat.com, as best as I have seen. Of all the things I wish I could keep going back to after the con ends, the fireworks always top that list. :)
And also on @furality.org, I simply cannot give enough praise to @lomg.fyi and the rest of the staff who built up the club world. Every year it gets better. Similarly, the fireworks... Don't have a link for who did those, but wow, also something I can just watch over and over.
I was "attending" @furality.org all weekend, the VR con. As much as I may grumble about the terrible schedule, I LOVE the event: wonderful venues and a chance to be a horrible monster with friends all weekend. Honestly, better than any "normal" con.
I am SO not ready to go back to being a human.
You know, I remember when FedEx didn't suck. Hard to believe there was such a time, given them now.
I don't blame the drivers, I blame the company making unrealistic performance expectations for the deliveries.
Snakeworx (@snakeworx.monster), making VRChat avatars is now a thing! I've just released the Ophidian avatar there, available on snakeworx.itch.io/ophidian or snakeworx.gumroad.com
And I just realized... Worm cult, not scaled cult. Oh, well. :) Been a long day.
(I am also kind on a semi-hiatus from the game for a bit.)
Thanks! There's another ESO themed one in there, where she did one of my snake character as a boss. I'm on the road right now, so can't post a link, but we'll do so later.
I'm kind of hoping we'll see more Mantikora this year, since the new content seems to be based around warm cult stuff.
You might like this, then! www.furaffinity.net/view/42650140/
I had to think all those sentient "monsters" should work together. Either get some respect or show them what they are REALLY capable of!
If I could just have a polymorph to one in ESO. :)
