Procyon is approaching the Forge Station in Earth orbit. The model is currently available as a bonus for my kitbash set :)
Excellent work, Tobias
Ditto. It just works. And looks beautiful.
It's fake. No other sources.
Good luck with it, Robert

Dragon's Egg is the only one which 'hard' Sci fi. 😉
🤣 At least there isn't a deficit or excess of phalanged digits, for a change. What's next, a TV series called Neanderthal Manor, where a lucky sapiens woman gets to choose her ideal neanderthal?
A fly by of the Destiny from Stargate: Universe.
Enjoy.

This illustration, created in Blender and Photoshop, shows a scene from the end of the Cretaceous Period in Earth's history. A pair of tyrannosaurs - a mother and infant - cross a water-logged landscape, while a comet looms in the sky. A comet or asteroid is widely thought to have provoked the extinction of the dinosaurs at the end of this Period, when it collided with Earth. It was not the worst mass extinction in Earth's potted timeline, but it was certainly the swiftest. The dinosaurs and many other creatures would be extinct months after this event, if not sooner.
Latest artwork, created this afternoon in #Blender and Photoshop. I don't usually give my artworks 'poetic' titles. Usually this would be 'Tyrannosaurs Regarding comet' or something equally prosaic. But I decided to break with tradition, and named it 'Impending Doom'.

They'll never get a chance to realise the European take on healthcare while big pharma pays off all the politicians, who then lobby against it with lies and propaganda. Ditto for guns and NRA.
Beat me to it. Yes, Tim White
This is brilliant. A piece of written English where the language gets older as you go on. For me, before about 1400 it starts to become really hard to follow.
This is excellent! After 1400 it all becomes clear.
Absolutely fascinating! Thank you for this. I started to struggle at 1400 and older.
Hi, folks! Here's one of my earliest and still favourite animations, created in 3ds Max in 2011. It's shows the hellish landscape of Earth's Hadean Eon, shortly after the formation of the Moon, more than 4 billion years ago.
Who wants to go?
Rare to see decent #Blender work on this platform. Thanks.
A version of Macready waits to be rescued. A helicopter approaches him. He looks at his hand and it hasn't yet formed into a fully human hand

One year ago today I posted this miniature 'The Thing' photo I created using real figures, lighting and cotton wool for snow.

'You gotta be f*cking kidding!' One of my all-time faves. Shame that Carpenter hasn't made a decent flick in decades.
The Earth revolves not around the Sun, but rather around the US, they like to believe. I too loathe this blinkered view.

Blew me away too. Must be incredible in the flesh
I'd only ask for a takedown in lieu of a decent chunk of money. Infuriating.

Wow. I haven't seen this one before, Michael, or at least I don't remember it. Stunning!
That's fantastic
Lucky man
