A picture of a mailman being attacked by a dog in shoes. The text says Those are my shoes Give them back you are a dog They don’t even fit
Gotcha
A parody of an old USPS PSA graphic about the difficulties mailpeople have with dogs with the title "Put yourself in my shoes" but now it says below "Don't make me deliver any more letters to Silent Hill" and "Good lord I hate this place" with a graphic of a mailperson wielding a blade of some type at a monster with packages strewn about on the ground.
I don't know why I still have this saved, but perhaps it was for this very moment in time.
Six update. Hubby was doing the crossword and said "what's a five letter word for 'longing'" out loud, and Six said "sehnsucht" from the hallway without looking up from the spot on the wall it stares at. David said "that doesn't fit" and Six said "it never does." Then it went back to the guest room?

Bunny was quiet for a long time after she hung up. Staring, silently, at nothing. Letting her eyes unfocus.
Eventually a drop of water fell on her head and she sighed, and got up, and went inside. Behind her, the trees were blowing in the wind. The cherry blossoms would start blooming soon.

college freshman, drunk on stolen whiskey she can barely stand the taste of: so like. why is there something rather than nothing

the other thing I remember is that it focused quite strongly on Brookes, on the prison of his own making …. but I can’t recall any of the exact words.
about a year ago I read a blog post that was a queer analysis of The Shawshank Redemption. I have no idea who wrote it and I can’t find it again. Has anyone else seen it or know where to look?
cc @economeager.bsky.social, I don’t recall if you wrote it but it seems like something you’d have written
