At first go around I thought "oh she's returning something", and then when your post passed me a second time I looked closer and saw she was returning Final Fantasy XIII. Literally, Lightning Returns Final Fantasy XIII. Impeccable.

Simply: I want toys and I want friends. If my friends have something cool to show me, I'll look at it and try it out and maybe I'll love it! But if the whole world tries to say that I have to like something because otherwise I'd be out of the loop, that just feels awful.

Disconnecting myself from tech is actually the thing I don't want, because the tech is the thing I like - what I don't like is the capitalism. I like YouTube videos, but hate short form content. I like streaming music, but hate Spotify, and so on. Mindfulness can be applied without disconnecting.

Absolutely loved the post. It got me thinking about how the happiest I've been is after I disconnected myself from the FOMO, and just focused on playing with my toys: sit and focus on things I like, and the friends I can share that joy with.
