Greymarket scooters don't have the same level of battery QA as a big name auto manufacturer. Also lots of cars available with LFP which is far more stable. Have been driving EV for 10 years and about 300,000km now with no issues.

I recently got prescription safety sunglasses. Best holy shit I can see hack ever. Especially good for welding outside in the sun with the hood set 1 shade lighter

The vibe is the chuck being imbalanced by the human body wrapped around it.

Hey folks, if you drive an internal combustion car here in Aotearoa New Zealand, might be a good idea to go fill up your tank today.

And think about shifting to electric.

Yeah, I have a very solidly calcified mass that discovered as an incidental finding when investigating months of severe fatigue and brain fog. It took considerable force to get the needle into it, interestingly no local offered.

To be clear it does work with pure water, I've seen it done in person on steel but it's not very fast at all. We were working on a system that had a 40000psi pump

Water jet cutting, it certainly works with pure water but what you're describing sounds like there's garnet added. It's a pretty common CNC process now

It is such a fascinating process. And really handy as a problem solver: need to drill a square hole in tool steel? Easy.

My workshop EDM is ~50 years old, laser engraving has been mainstream since the late 90s early 2000s kind of thing

25.02.2026 19:34 ๐Ÿ‘ 2 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 2 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

The engraving looks almost like it was done with EDM, though at only 4 years old I would assume laser

Given the price of tantalum I doubt it's that :-) My first thought was barium sulphate
